While I'm aware the food ( steak burgers) were cooked fresh, the fries were not hot, therefore I thought it took entirely too long in the drive thru

Always know what I'm getting at steak and shake. Have been eating there for years but wish there was one in my town of Taylorville Illinois. Have to drive to Springfield or Decatur to eat at one.

It was fantastic Jason Kemp happened to be the best cook I've seen at a Steak 'n Shake he worked so hard the entire time great food at Springfield steaknshake

food and staff were great, the wait is always too long - especially in the drive in. I wish they would have people pull ahead to wait for larger orders or longer wait times to speed up the process. the bathrooms aren't very clean either.
