Steak 'n Shake

I saw two coworkers I don't think I'd like to see outside of work.

Shakes had chunks of ice in it. Waitress was hard to find.

The only thing we can complain about is the length of time it took for us to be greeted. We waited about 5 minutes.

Our waitress was very spacey. she kept zoning out while we were trying to talk to her and place our order. she corrected us several times about menu items or specials that were clearly displayed. she was wrong each time. also, she brought the wrong shake when I ordered strawberry banana.. and then told me that they didn't actually have strawberry banana on their menu. horrible experience. horrible.

Waited to long for our food. Then when we got it soup was cold and not worth the money.

Got 2 shakes. One of them was not completely full & this has happened before. Also workers didn't know how to do pay with the app

There was an employee smoking right outside the front door and then came in to work all while having flip flops on which is highly inappropriate for the food service industry. When I sat at the bar I was given no service for a few minutes, then a couple came to pay their bill and someone looked right at me, passed me by to take care of them and then came to me. Really unacceptable!

They always have very very slow service. But ok tasting food

We went to Steak 'n Shake to eat, but they were "closed for maintenance" though there were clearly customers inside eating
