Steak 'n Shake

The food took over 30 minutes to get to our table and was cold. Shakes took a lot of time too to get the table.

Great good friendly server but slow

No one to seat guest.... We sat ourselves after waiting at the door for 5 min and after not being acknowledged. Took the waitress several minutes to come take our drink orders. Unhappy with this experience. But the food was good.

The waiter forot about us twice and never apologized.

Well...we waited at least 15-20 minutes before even being acknowledged by staff...the poor kid that appeared to be hosting seemed to be doing the best he could under the circumstances...after being seated, we waited at least another 10-15 minutes before being acknowledged by our server...she brought us water and we continued to wait...she finally took our order and the waiting continued...she did the same with all her tables...then her son and his friends walked through the door...she waved them over bypassing at least two other parties and seated them immediately taking their drink orders...while we were eating she brought them refills & took their orders without ever acknowledging us or bringing refills...I love the food here, but I'm not sure it's worth the wait and/or lack of service...

Are shakes were left on the counter for over 1 minutes. Had the waitress get new ones made they were melted. Service was slow and not attentive.
