Steak 'n Shake

The service was slow and the lady was very grumpy that helped.

We love Steak 'n Shake's food. However, the service is typically awful, and that was true again tonight. Our server was very sweet and got the food right, but she got the shakes wrong twice. We had been done with our food for quite a while before we finally got all the correct shakes. They did take two shakes off our bill which was nice.

The restaurant near the mall in greenville, sc smelled like bad b.o.– so much that I nearly left without getting my shake. Huge gross out factor.

The food was great but the service was awful at one point and time all the waitress was standing around doing nothing but talking and paying the customers no attention

Took ten minutes for anyone to realize we were there and seat us. There were multiple empty tables, but none had been bussed. We were showed to a table, then asked to wait at it (while holding kids) while the host got supplies to clean it. We then sat for another twenty minutes before someone introduced them self to us and took our order. This place is run by teenagers. I keep wanting to go back because I love the burgers, but am increasingly more disappointed each time I go. The food never comes out right, the drinks are watered down, the service is slow and it's hard to get something fixed when it's wrong. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.
