It was a horrible experience. They brought us the wrong food. Then they questioned us 5 times what the correct order was . Then the mgr came out to question the order. 15 minutes later they said they would start cooking the correct order. The. "Mgr" said he would reimburse for the sides. I had to go to the counter to ask for it. He said he had to go in the back to get a gift card. 5 minutes later he comes back with no gift card smelling like smoke! Then grabs a gift card sitting on the counter and gave us $4.32! It was ridiculous! Food was good though:)

It was my family's first visit to Smashburger. It was not a pleasant experience. We came and immediately smelled the most disgusting smell inside, we asked about it and the person at the counter stated that she didn't feel anything. There were other people in line mentioning the smell too. Our kids were hungry so we had no choice but to stay and order. The food ( hamburgers and hot dogs) hardly had any flavor. The hot dogs came with very hard bread and my smashburger hardly had any veggies on it. This lunch was the only unpleasant experience we had during this weekend in La Jolla.
