The person who cleaned our room one day turned off the power strip. It turned off the refrigerator and I lost all my perishable foods. The manager gave us a $30 credit to compensate.

I have stayed at this location several times. This is one of the best hotels in the area as far as atmosphere and cost. This visit has been very disappointing as the WiFi is not working. This may cause me to change hotels in the future.

The Comfort Inn was a convenient stop when we couldn't drive any further and Asheville was having a power outage so we couldn't stay in our reserved hotel. The gentleman that checked us in and was polite and made sure to have my membership number applied to our room. The room was renovated and in decent condition. The fridge didn't work and the heat was smelly when we turned it on the front desk lady was apologetic but, didn't offer to correct the situation. The cleanliness of the room was average there were hairs in the bathroom from a previous occupant and the top of TV and lamps were slightly dusty (the room either hadn't been used in a while or the maids need to be more through and observant.) The breakfast was mediocre but, expected for a continental breakfast. It would be better if they paired down on what they served and focused on fresh and not frozen foods (the par boiled eggs looked days old in the fridge and the donuts and muffins had been frozen and thawed and were quite stale.) Overall not
