Buying a mattress is an expensive purchase. You cannot be sure it is the right one until you take it home and try it. By then it is too late.

The sales person Karl approached us shortly after we entered the store. He asked appropriate questions and guided us through using the machine designed to analyse our sleep positions etc. This advised a medium firm bed, which agreed with our expectations as our current mattress is a bit too firm. He showed us a range of beds. We liked the Flaxby range, but did not want too heavy a mattress because it would be harder to turn and could not see much advantage to paying more so we settled on the Nature's Refine. This cost £799, which is more than we intended to spend, but comes from a reputable manufacturer, and is Eco friendly. We paid for this then and there and arranged delivery. Karl said that we could cancel within 48 hours. When I got home I did some comparison on line and found a similar bed at John Lewis for £599. I checked the Dreams cancellation policy in the terms and conditions, but this did indicate that this was not possible. In the event we decided to stick with Dreams as we had previous good experiences with Dreams, but are left feeling that we may have paid a bit over the odds. We look forward to receiving our mattress and hope it lives up to expectations.

8 weeks lead time was a little too long for my liking but didn’t stop us placing an order

why do you not carry stock of the items you sell - It’s not like i ordered anything ‘special’ but i think waiting 9 weeks for a bed and mattress is too long

Originally we visited the Tamworth store which, being small, didn't carry much stock. We had to travel to Burton upon Trent which was ok. We had to wait quite a while after we had chosen our sofa bed for an assistant to become available. There only seemed to be two staff working. We have to wait over 2 weeks for delivery.

to be 'Highly Satisfied' is asking a bit much to state in any line of feedback as there is always room for higher satisfaction, Being satisfied is better than just 'I am ok'
