The soup of the day (split pea w/ham) was not available during the noon hour. When the waitress retiurned, I returned two-thirds of the tomatoes (2 slices) on my caprese salad and said that the green tomatoes made the salad taste terrible. She said she would tell the cook. I believe I should have gotten a small discount or new tomatoes.

Overall the service from the waitress was fine, the order was accurate, and she was attentive. However, all the food was cold. But at that point, we didn't feel like waiting to send the entire order back. Also the Pulled Pork Nachos that we ordered didn't seem to have much flavor. My main complaint is the cold food though.

We never were greeted and never were thanked for dining at Shari’s. Stood in front of a person at cash register after entering the restaurant a very long time, no “no Welcome to Sharis, I’ll be with you shortly” just left us standing there! Waited a long time at the table to place our order while the person who eventually took our order passed by several times, he could have said,” I’ll be with you shortly” or something. The worst experience I have ever had at Shari’s from a customer service standpoint!

The wait for our food was extremely long. I had to wait for iced tea to be brewed. When the tea was delivered it was in a small glass "because all the soda glaases were dirty." When our food did arrive the portion size was much smaller than I have previously experienced on past visits. I had requested sausage be added to my omelet - there was no sausage. The food however was extremely tasty! I did bring the fact that the order was incorrect to my servers attention by requesting not to be charged for the sausage. She did apologize but did not offer to fix the issue. I did order a piece of pie that I was not charged for which I appreciate however this was a happy surprise and not offered as a concession for the incorrect order and slow service. In addition the restaurant was not extremely busy but all of the guests were seated on top of each other . This store also desperately needs a facelift as the carpet is dingy and server station that we were seated directly next to was dirty from long term use.

The waiter Silverio 289111 was un kept and had body order. One order of eggs was incorrect, when redone it was returned with egg shells cooked in them. The bacon was so crisp it fell apart when being picked up. The toast was buttered ONLY in the very middle approx 1 sq inch. Hash browns tasted like old grease.

Placed an order for a pie over the phone - when I came in to pick up the pie, it was the wrong pie, so had to wait an extra 15 minutes to get the correct kind.

We waited over 10 minutes before we seated ourselves. No one appeared interested in greeting us. 15+ min later we were finally greeted. Wrong salad & dressing arrived with meal and delivered by kitchen staff. I got salad w 8 small leaves and 1 tomato for $3.50. Had to ask for Hubby's soup. Food was luke warm. Hubby got small cup of soup for $3.50 when most places serve med bowl for that price.. Drink refill only after asking even though staff knew our glasses were empty.

My food was a little over cooked and the soup to go was small.
