Shari's

I loved Shari's strawberry crepes. Many of my visits to Shari's was because of the quality of the strawberry crepes; now that strawberry crepes have been dropped from the menu, there is little reason for me to choose Shari's over any other diner.

We have eaten at this Shari's for several years on a regular basis. The last time, however, the food received didn't match what was on the menu. We also noticed the menu was smaller with less food choices. We are very disappointed with so much being removed from the menu. For the price, quantity, and quality we can find much better elsewhere.

The cashier who took my order to go was short in conversation. She seemed to be annoyed at the amount of items I was ordering. She made several sigh's. Not friendly. Part of my order was forgotten, and if I didn't catch it before I left I would have been all the way home without it. Not good customer service.

Worst experience ever at this Shari's, me and my family come to the Highland Fair #227 a few times a year, but this experience has by far made it to where we do not want to come back to this location or any other locations again.

Half way though our visit, the waitress forgot about us.

Our server was not attentive we wanted ketchup and syrup and our drinks refilled. She left us stating she would be right back. We waited 15 minutes before going to another section to have another server help us. We asked our waitress to please return to us and check on us she said she had to many tables and had to sell pies so she is not sure. We could not even get our check when we were ready to leave it was a terrible experience. The last time I came in we waited 20 minutes to get a pie and when I got it home it was very old tasting not good at all. I am not a fan of this Shari's and I will not return. I will go back to the one on Burnside in Gresham where they have fresh items and good service. The wait for a table is worth it after all. I am disappointed and when I told my server she was not very nice and did not look at me after I told her what was wrong. She just avoided me the rest of the time I was there with my husband.

I wrote a whole paragraph explaining what had happened during our visit but when I hit the next button it said it had timed out and I had to start over #$%@%^& YOU!!!!! we will never go back to your restaurant!!!!

Our server was not very polite. She seemed irritated and too busy to bother with us. All we ordered was 4 deserts 3 of them were pie, 1 lava cake. It took over 20 min for it to come. At around 15 min my Mother spoke to a different waitress and she IMEDIATELY apologized and made sure it was taken care of. Our food was with us within minutes AND she checked with us later to make sure everything was ok.. she wasn't even our waitress who coincidentally just about dropped the food on the table when it came out. Debbie was really amazing so sweet and saved our experience and she got our tip NOT our waitress.

When I brought the food issues to the managers attention he simply said he knew they were having a bad night and offered no resolution. my husband's food had to be sent back twice and was still not cooked all the way. The only food the was actually cooked completely was my daughters chicken strips. I had even ordered a pie shake and was ignored. We waited over 30 min before I could ask for a drink refill. The wait to get out actual food was longer. we attend this restaurant regularly but after this I don't know if we will be back for a while.

Arrived at 6:45 on a Friday night for Prime Rib. All prime rib gone, ok. Ordered a steak. All baked potatoes gone, clam chowder gone. Ok. Lost my steak, someone else picked it up and they couldn't find it. Left over an hour later. No one tried to make it right. $44.06 down the drain. Waitress was very friendly. They weren't that busy.
