My wife and I have been going to Shari's since we we're both very young, with our families. It's a place we are disappointed to say, has traded profits above all else. Food quality has declined and prices increase. The building looks nice but the staff always seems miserable and cranky outside of breakfast. Fries, onion rings, a piece of pie and a shake cost $20!? Tell me which of those isn't over priced. We have been around long enough to see the digression of a lot of Shari's in Oregon, and after this visit we will likely not be returning for quite some time.

Prime rib special on a Friday night should be a no brainer. Server was good but the meal was cold. I asked to replace the spud for extra veggies (diabetic) and didn't get them. Meat was cold!!! Yuk May never return!!!!!

Order missing several items. Took over 10 extra minutes to get food. Employees didn't seem to know what they were doing.

Hillsboro Shari's. 8/22/2017 approx 10:00 PM: Servers Mandy and Holly were the only ones working, they had three customers total, no cook, the manager was cooking. Servers Holly and Mandy were extremely slow, could barely greet me at the door (mostly ignored me) at the door, virtually ignored me for almost 15 minutes before they took my order, were both extremely unfriendly, were both seemingly less than happy to be there. Never brought me a ticket at the table, took an exceedingly long time to process one customer at the counter (trying to sell pies, explain survey forms, long unnecessary conversation with customer at register, poor sense of urgency), could not even offer me a pen to sign my receipt. Both these servers did not seem happy, or the slightest bit friendly or welcoming, the manager was no where to be seen. I am a regular customer at this restaurant. The service and friendliness of the wait staff has dramatically gone down hill in recent months. The only reason that I go to this restaurant, particularly in the evening is because it is the only sit down restaurant in the area that is open at late hours. It is definitely not my first choice of restaurants.

I ordered 3 items, all that I have ordered before, the beef stroganoff for myself which was the issue. It did not look like what I had gotten before cubes of some sort of beef but I was okay until I took my first bite of the beef which was tough and dry and then the bite of penne pasta and sauce it was disgusting the smell and taste if it had spoil. I did not and could not have another bite. If I had not just gotten off work and did not have a strained back I would have taken it back because it really upsets me that at times the quality of take out food is so bad especially after paid $37.27(total) for a meal that I could not share with my family.

I went tonight with a couple of friends. The server Peggy treated us like we were an inconvenience she didn't tell us she was leaving. She left and we had no idea we sat for 2 hours and no one checked on us. The manager on the night shift even ignored us. When we finally flagged a server down named kimberly she was rude and her mouth was awful. I have never experienced this kind of service from this shari's

We were seated promptly but it took a good 10 mins to be acknowledged or asked for beverages. The restaurant was not busy and the staff was standing around, including the manager. My husband order for the both of us when the food came she had split the breakfast - 1/2 for me and half for my husband. First of all we never asked for the meal to be split but most of all the eggs and potatoes were cold, the chicken fried steak was the only food hot. The biscuit was hard as a brick and the gravy was cold. Once our waitress dropped off our food we never saw her again. My husband told the manager but she did not act concerned at all. When we left they had to go get find her as we were not going to pay $27.00 for the meal. I have no problem paying for a good meal but this was ridiculous. Since my husband and I ate the chicken fried steak and drank a cup of his coffee we agreed to pay $10.00. The only positive comment my hot water order. Loved the mini teapot, nice size lemon slices and honey packet.

we went into sharis #159 this morning specifically because of the steak and eggs special that you have been advertising every 15 minutes on tv when we got there we were made to wait along with around ten other people which I did not understand because there was at least ten empty tables that could plainly be seen and while we were waiting one person decided to leave for that very reason. after we were seated we were given regular menus which didn't even mention steak and eggs so I asked my server (I came in for the steak and eggs special on tv ) she answered ( I believe that was the sirloin and eggs and we also have a T-bone and eggs for 12.99) so I answered ( I think ill stick with the sirloin ) so the person I was with ordered the same thing we ate and everything was fine until we got the bill and were charged 13.59 each for our steaks so I ask you do you think I would gave ordered siloin steak for 13.59 or the T-bone for 12.99 ?

We were seated almost immediately after arriving, but it took 20 minutes for a waitress to come to us and ask us what drinks we wanted. Another 5 minutes until drinks arrived, most water in slightly warm temperature. Took another 31 minutes (we had a stopwatch going) to recieve food. Food was not warm at all- hashbrowns were hard, bacon was soggy, pancakes were barely warm, sausage was hard, omelettes were barely warm. Took another 15 minutes until the waitress realized we had no water left in our cups. People who had arrived anywhere from 10-20 minutes after us were recieving their food before we were. We watched all of the waitresses, ours was the only one that looked like she did not care or was not paying attention. All other waitresses looked like they were on the ball and paying attention to their tables. Our waitress took her sweet time getting to each one of her tables. Our table was a foursome, and all of our food was dissapointing. Our service in general was very dissapointing. We spent around $50 in food, and we definitely did not leave a single penny for a tip. Worst service i've personally had in quite a long time.
