Both my husband and I both had a steak meal and we both agreed that the meat did not tast fresh at all. It had a liver tast as well as smell. Don't know why but we don't think we will order again. We have had the steak meal before and have been satisfied but not this visit.

Just terrible service all the way around, Everybody slow & in bad mood/unfriendly. Server Rose/Rosina was ClubCafe ignorant. I signed up during one of the many times simply waiting for her to return & she never gave me a card, as it says right on the table promo. Never brought coffee i asked for, was rude about being busy (using word "Bud" or "Buddy" instead of sir, or simply asking my name as i had asked hers so i wouldn't have to say "Ma'am" nor "Waitress"). REALLY MADE MY SUNDAY MORNING MISERABLE INSTEAD OF A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE, SOMEHOW, IN PART AT LEAST, I LEFT NEVER WANTING TO RETURN THIS NOR ANY SHARI's AGAIN. TERRIBLE. Called Club Cafe Mktg/Cust.Svc point person in Portland & still have not received a call back. This is not the first time things have gone badly here at the Hood River restaurant -- obviously they have trouble finding & retaining QUALITY people -- but the management has always taken positive steps to remedy the situation. This day the mgt was either out of sight or not present altogether. I'm a biz consultant & my time is worth $100 hour. You pretty much owe me my meal times 3 just for this feedback. +This was the 1st time i ever stiffed on a check: $0 tip

I ordered the turkey dinner you see advertised on TV. It was cold and looked just warmed up-no cranberry. Mainly the turkey tasted like a pressed role of leftover turkey roll-can't believe Shari's serves that for Thanksgiving at 14.99 a person. A better meal at KFC for 5.00. Sorry but it was terrible.What happened to real turkey and they actully sell turkey dinner to go.

AFTER DELIVERY OF ORDER no one checked back to verify order. At first waitress was very attentive. After she delivered the order she vanished NEVER to be seen again. She was often chatting with the manager. We asked manager for more water, she said "Right away" she NEVER returned. Twenty minutes later we got up to get needed water. Food was tepid, tasteless, and incorrect. Since no one returned we were stuck with what had been left for us. Order was incorrect, salad was over 80% (14)croutons, 2 pieces of cucumber and only 5 pieces of lettuce. Not enough to keep a Rabbit alive. These problems we believe should rest on the manager and poorly trained staff.

My spoon was wider than my entire sandwich . I have taken multiple pictures which will be posted on yelp along with my negative review of this restaurant . The food was bland . I wasn't given sauces. The people that work there were unable to help when it was pointed out that the sandwich was not even worth $2 let alone $12. I will never again return to this restaurant

Staff was not knowledgeable. We were seated and forgotten after order was placed. Returned twice to ask for substitution because of no product. Orders were not plated correctly. Waitress was observed walking to car and leaving then plates were delivered missing items. Had to ask multiple times for missing items. Staff brought us a water pitcher after asking for refills, to forget about us. This visit was a redemption visit because of previous bad experiences at this location. To be blunt this place SUCKS and is not doing the SHARIS brand any good. The only thing consistent here is BAD EXPERIENCES. We will not go back and will recommend to friends to NOT GO THERE. My wife, sister-in-law and I ordered the Pie Shake. We got them in a plastic to go cup with a straw. I was expecting to have nice chucks of pie in a mason jar, but instead all three had been blended. My Pie Shake had a nasty sour taste to it. I told our Server and she said my wife and my Pie Shake had been from the same batch, but my wife's didn't take like mine. I had the Server take mine off the order, but we feel we overpaid for these Shakes that didn't look or taste like it should. Also, we ordered a side of fries, but the portion was small for the almost 5 dollars we spent.

Not greeted when arriving which resulted in us seating ourselves. After a very long wait to even be acknowledged for menus and water, we finally got up to try and find a staff member and get a menu. A very long wait again for the water and the server turned to walk away when I said excuse me can we please get coffee. We were asked if this was to go? No we are sitting in a booth waiting for someone to take our order. Coffee was brought to us and again the server turned and walked away. We were not asked if we were ready to order if we needed a few more moments to decide, nothing. Finally after having to wave the server down to say we are ready and have been ready to order. The server was very confused as to what was included with the meals,. We both ordered breakfast and the server had no idea about hash brown, French toas, pancake options, it resulted in the server having to read the menu to us outloud severaL times for the server to understand. We were clear on what our choices were. Not hardly anyone in the sharis at midnight, but the food seemed to take an incredibly long time to receive. Food lukewarm. Asked to pay halfway thru menu so register count and sharis closing?????

I'm fat and I want more food

Very unorganized employees. It was like they did not know what they were doing. Once finally seated she never brought our drinks, or took our order. Another waitress took another tables order that came in after us. She finally turned around so I said something to her. She took our order, but she did not understand the menu. She said she would bring our drinks but never did. Our meal was barely warm. The waffle had very gross sausage gravy on it, and was cold. The chicken tasted odd, and the batter was hard as a rock. Ended up with a stomach ache from your food that night. We felt very ripped off. 25.00 for very gross food, and horrible service.
