The staff was friendly and the food was good as usual. Extra coffee was provided on the table.

/My brother and I went to honor our mother's memory by ordering her favorite, lemon meringue pie, on her actual birthday, By coincidence, our server then told us that HIS mother was observing her 72nd birthday on that day also, March 4th. It made for kind of a sentimental "bond" between us, and he was very friendly and concerned for us, even going to make a fresh pot of De-caf coffer for me---(my brother was drinking regular!)
