Shari's

The person greeting and seating us seemed inconvenienced. The server was great, she was the best part of the visit and was very attentive to us. The food value was ridiculous in regard to price paid, gravy was cold, steak was very small and overall not satisfied with the meal. Chose not to send it back as I don't trust it would be managed in a sanitary manner.

Coffee was not ready when we arrived. Waited for fresh pot and expected it to taste better than it did. Table coffee pots were not clean and shiny. Bench seat was old and uncomfortable.

I was disappointed that they forgot a meal in my to-go order. It was frustrating to get all the way home just to realize it was not there. The manager offered a free piece of pie but I would have preferred someone double-checked the order before I left instead.

Over price for 4 slices of bread with coffee.

Our waiter was kind to our faces, but rude otherwise. I even heard her say s she came back in from her break, "they're still here!?" She seemed very unhappy to have us around even though we had bought food. It was the worst experience at a Shari's I have ever had. I will not come back to the Keizer Shari's again.

Food was brought to the table at just above room temperature. Other tables that were seated after us were served well before us. All attempts to capture the attention of a server were ignored. Our server looked at us with irritation when asked to get refills, during our food delivery. Overall an aweful experience. I would like to return to this restaurant someday, please fix these issues before I do.

Every time i come to this Shari's the staff has a "i hate my job" kind of attitude. No one is ever friendly or happy. The cups have lipstick on them absolutely EVERY SINGLE TIME. Its disgusting.

Everything was fine until we were finished eating. They were busy and I'm sure that was part of the problem. We waited quite a while for our take out boxes, then for our check. The waitress was very friendly though. We mostly have good service at Shari's.

Waffle says it's malted but tastes like any other waffle. When I mentioned this to the waitress she said it's a premixed batter and asked if she could get me another one. It was rubbery and not as hot as expected. The potatoes and bacon were also not warm enough and bacon was very leathery. Waitress did not seem very friendly; no smiling. Water cup had things floating in the bottom. Never offered a discount on food I couldn't finish because it was unpalatable.
