Great food

Prices have risen unreasonably high, especially breakfast.

Extremely short-staffed! Petra was literally running (safely), trying to handle all her customers, plus greeting, plus the register. You were short a hostess, a server, and a cook - the manager was cooking! It took 1/2 hour from when we arrived to get our food, and it wasn't Petra's fault! We decided not to order pie - did not want to put any more pressure on the overworked staff. This Shari's usually has slow service, but tonight was worse than normal. We'll try one more time, then stop coming to Shari's completely. If I were Petra, I would start looking for another job - the pressure on her was ridiculous. And she is really, really good! A smile, VERY friendly; very likeable. She's a real gem.

Soup Luke warm. Didn't eat much d/t terrible taste. Waitress just said she was sorry. No offer to rectify. Food not hot when meal arrived. Steak cooked perfect but cold. Potatoes and onion rings cold. Apparently not served when ready.

Our mens group have been coming to this Shari's each Thursday since 1997, a group of 6 to 9 individuals on a weekly basis. We have noticed the prices for a basic eggs toast and a couple slices of bacon have continued to rise to the point that it's becoming out of line for such simple food items. This day we arrive and fine an increase in price (on the senior discount menu) and see two sausages typically on the plate is now ONE. This may seem minimal to management, but to a consumer it's a slam in the face...Come on a sasauge?

Service was slow, some of the lettuce in my salad was brown and wilted, my iced tea was too weak and was never offered a refill, although I wouldn't have wanted it.

Asked for plain peanut butter milkshake. Received chocolate peanut butter.

I was part of a large group. As I was paying my bill I left a $1 tip for my $4 french fries. I thought tipping 25% was satisfactory. Then the waitress made a comment that she "sure hoped the waitress on the other cash register was making more money than she was." I thought it was pretty rude to make a comment like like after I just tipped her.

Squash soup was not flavorful as expected. Did not eat more than two bites. Too salty as well.

It was Fathers Day the wife ask where I would like to go out and eat . I told her Sharis was advertising a TBone dinner for 17.99 and would a good steak. when we were seated the waitress told us they were out TBone ,but were subbing Prime Rib in its place .The wife talked me into trying it as Prime Rib is a good cut of meat. We both ordered that. neither one of us could finish it because it was very hard to chew,very tuff . We were very dissappointed
