The server did not know the menu or how to work the cash register properly. A little more training is needed.

I did not like the coffee and the menu change I did not care for. It did not have the lunch trio on it and we asked and they said I could have requested it. But all in all Sharis is still my #1.

When I walked in, customers left due to wait to be seated. Apparently a few employees left w/o notice. I mentioned folks were leaving and the remaining employees tried to manage as best they could. I'm not sure where the manager was but the servers did pick up the slack. Our servers have always been nice.

I had no problem on this visit or most visits for that matter, but We went in for dinner on 6/15/16 and it took 5 minutes to get seated( not so bad), 5 minutes to get us our drinks( pushing my patience a bit), then We sat there for another 15 minutes waiting for someone to come take our order. We got up and left. It was a little on the busy side, but I think a place should be able to do better than 25 minutes( or more?) just to have someone take the order. I mean We didn't even see the waiter in our section the whole time. He helped some folks with their ticket about 3 tables away while we were waiting for our drinks and then nothing.

The peaches were not completely cooked through. They were hard. The apple pies are the same. Very unappetizing. Why do you have to put bacon in everything?

Husband ordered tater tots and received fries. Cooks always seem to take a long time and still be inattentive to the orders-even when restaurant not busy. We were there around 3:45-4pm

The server had a problem with the credit card machine on an order ahead of me, and did not get to take my order for over 15 minutes. Someone else brought water right away, and then I waited...waited...

There was very little pastrami in the pastrami sandwich I ordered. I mentioned it to the waitress (when she asked if everything was O.K.) and showed her. She asked if I wanted more pastrami, I said yes, and a few minutes later brought me a dish with 4 heated slices, which I put in my sandwic half and made it better. It still didn't look anything like the picture in the menu. Tasted like old thick pastrami pieces. The French fries and lemon pie were items that will make me try Sharis again.

I do not like the practice of receiving the bill the same time as the meal. This is strictly for the convenience of the server, and is a negative factor in the quality of the restaurant. It is a "fast-food restaurant" practice. Even I-Hop presents the bill after asking if there is anything else the customer wishes. I also do not like the practice by the cashier of only providing the receipt of the total charge, not the itemized bill. I usually purchase a package of retail coffee and a piece of pie or a whole pie. I also appreciate Sharis' discounts. All this I would like to verify on an itemized receipt. At the last visit I asked for an itemized receipt, which was provided. But it should be presented automatically without asking.s Otherwise, my wife and I enjoy our visits to Sharis, hoping that soon we will see Sharis open a restaurant in our growing community of Stockton, California, with a population of 300,000. Recently, Marie Calendar and Elephant Bar discontinued operations in Stockton,andt they were both replaced by new restaurants. Too bad none of them were Sharis.
