Shari's

We had a brand new server who could've used more training. Once we were done with our pie she dropped off our bill and never came back. We ended up sitting for a while and chatting and I had to flag her down after 20 minutes so I could get a drink refill. I don't appreciate being ignored after a server thinks I'm done. It's rude to ignore a table when you still have guests at it. There were only 2 other tables she was waiting on (it was after midnight) so there was no excuse.

our waitress was very sweet but apparently needs a lot more training on what is available and how things are made/served.

Told waitress to specify T-bone was to be rare, emphazied, and waitress wrote Rare on order. Cook paid no attention and cooked medium, I told waitress it was medium, she said I'm sorry. You can't depend on how meat will be cooked, depending who is the cook. I shud know better and will not order in the future. Otherwise my favorite restaurant.

The server, Teresa S, was very pleasant and worked to rectify a problem with our order and resolved our dissatisfaction. We were one of only six tables with customers yet it took 30+ minutes to receive our food (2 guests). The bacon, as part of a big breakfast, was very over cooked and burned. The replacement bacon appeared old and my guest didn’t eat it. My broccoli & cheddar quiche had a terrible taste! The broccoli tasted old (not fresh) which gave the quiche a terrible flavor and rendered it inedible. In addition, the portion size was small. Teresa was kind enough to remove the cost of my meal even though I didn’t request her to do so. Shari’s appears like a nice restaurant, but the service was extremely slow in terms of food preparation when the restaurant wasn’t busy and they seem to have an issue with food freshness.

My Cedar Plank Salmon could have swam off the plank it was so under. Fish did not flake at all and was coldish. Original plate also was suppose to come with bread which was forgotten. The waitress offered to have the fish heated more which does not work well with fish. I had to suggest a new piece of fish. The second piece was perfect and came with the bread. But, by this time I had nothing else to eat with my meal.

The kitchen is not prepared for Sundays and it is a shame as many of us come there for brunch

I came here for key lime pie shakes. They are awesome. The best pie shake I have ever had here. Yes I know they are seasonal for some stupid reason. But I kept coming back since I had my first one this year. My daughter lives near Shari's. We chose lunch here because of key lime pie shakes. I can eat lunch anywhere but the key lime pie shake is here. I was incredibly disappointed to find out they were not available. I should have left then but have u a chance. The peach pie shake was really without any distinct flavor. And bland. Of course, compared to key lime, pewchbis a loser. Please, dear god, make key lime year round. I can guarantee I will show up regularly for one. I drove across country in June. Our first stop was Shari's on first day. Had keynlime shake for lunch. Nothing else. My wife and daughter were jealous. Anyhow, we charted every Shari's in front of us on the drive just for that. Only one more sharia on the drive. Sadly. BRING BACK KEY LIME!!!!!!

The 'to go order' was not good! The ribs were just satisfactory, the beans were weird...smelled and tasted just like the ribs (sauce). (Bushes makes great baked beans)! Just saying... The coleslaw was bland, but edible! Good biscuits. The apple pie had hard (tough) apples...but edible! Three of our party of 4, had diarrhea today! Overall, not a good 'Memorial day' picnic experience!

The service in sit down people and attitude of the waitresses poor!!

I asked for green ice tea and the hostess said there was only black tea. The waiter brought the tea and I asked and he said yes there was green tea. I ordered medium well for my hamburger and it came rare. It was sent back and when I got it back it was still under done. It took a long time to get the check and it was wrong. Very unhappy with this restaurants service.
