Like i said you had a smoker out front of resturant that keep coming in and walking by our table and he smelled of smoke. We just about left in the middle of our meal.

They were very busy, and we (and others) had to wait to be seated. I certainly understand-it was Christmas Eve. But the employee they had greeting people, making a waiting list, and seating folks was did not have the training, experience, or perhaps skills for doing what is arguably the most important part of goo customer service-greeting the customer. I believe she was just young and inexperienced. She seemed to lack the confidence and people skills to do that job. As a group, the customers ourselves had to help her keep things straight. For instance, as I walked in the door, she was writing another customers name on the list. When she finished that, she looked up, I made eye contact, she said nothing to me, just hurried off. Busy is busy, but it really takes no time to say "Hi, I will be right back" (by the time she DID come back, three other parties had come in) She seemed to lack the confidence it takes to talk to people and take charge of a situation. In MY opinion, there should have been a Manager or lead person taking care of customers at the door. I have lived in Oregon all my life, (in Bend since 1978) I have been and will continue to be a Sharis customer.

Food was cold and overcooked.

The young waitstaff did not seem to be on the ball, a little slow, had to be reminded to bring napkins and flatware. When we went to pay, she waited on the person in front of us, finished with them and then walked off. Had to wait until another person was available to pay.

our waitress was not very attentive to my daughters order she didnt write it down the way she wanted her burger fixed, i was not satisfied with my visit and it was my birthday so it made it worse.

The wait staff was friendly and attentive and took care of problems right away. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and rubbery, they were replaced. The biscuits and gravy were a joke. The biscuit served was tiny and cold and the gravy was cold. The order was replaced with pancakes. The toast was dry and cold, inedible. This followed a previous visit we made to the S. 3rd St store where we were treated cold and indifferently, seated at a back table by throwing menus on the table and walking off. We were ignored and finally walked out without receiving any attention.

Crew were short staffed & seemed busy with a few tables of guests. Took awhile to be seated. Everything else was fine.
