Shari's

1. We waited several minutes to be greeted or seated. There was no line and several of the staff knew we were there. 2. We waited and waited to have our order taken, then waited and waited to get our food. The restaurant was not packed and there seemed to be plenty of staff. 3. Nobody ever expressed "Sorry you've had to wait so long." 4. We never did get the bill. Finally just went to the register. 5. Nobody said "hello, glad you're here" and nobody said "thank you for coming." It was as if we were a burden on the staff to be there wanting to eat.

We had a server named holly and she wasn't attentive at all and she never refilled our glasses and took over 20 minuets before she came to take our orders, she walked away from us when we were tying to give her our order and she messed up on one of our orders. For sure highly dissatisfied with the service.

We have been going to this Shari's for years, but it seems service has slipped. We have been tolerant in the past of errors in our order, forgotten items and slow service. However, this visit was too much. We were still OK, even though there was only one cook so we were at the restaurant for almost 2.5 hours, with the last person's order arriving 2 hours in (after we received the wrong entree). The real problem was at checkout. The cashier charged a pre-loaded debit card for the amount of the dinner: $71.70. The card had $100 on it, so the receipt said there was a balance of $28.30 (100-71.70=28.30). However, she INSISTED that there was only $28.30 on the card and INSISTED I pay an additional $43.40. She would not be dissuaded, so I ended up paying the $43.40. I talked to the manager and he said there was nothing he could do. SO, I am out $43.40. If I want it back, I will have to take my statements and the receipt to the manager and try to get a refund. What an amazing HASSLE. I am so annoyed, if I DO have to do that, it will be the LAST time I step foot in that Shari's. This may not seem a loss, but we always tipped 20 to 40%. NO MORE. Very sad.

This was likely the worst experience I've had eating out in 3-4 years. I asked the waitress for a recommendation regarding salads. She recommended the steak salad to me and asked me how I would like it cooked. I asked for a medium steak salad. When the salad came out, it literally looked like a burnt piece of meat had been put on top of an old salad. I cut into the meat and saw it was overcooked. The dressing looked like it had been thrown on top of the meat to cover up the fact that the meat was overcooked. I asked for the waitress to take the salad back and please bring me a different salad. I finally received the different salad on it 20 minutes later after my wife and daughter had been done eating for some time. I was never offered any type of compensation for the mess up and on top of it, the waitress was sitting down at the table behind us almost the entire time talking with two gentlemen. We had to ask for our drinks to be refilled on two different occasions and had to ask for napkins and dressing for the salad because she forgot to bring it after the second salad was brought out.

This is the second time in less then a month that our food was cold last time we waited 45 minutes and our food was cold also spent 40 dollars on breakfast. . This time it was still cold. i dont think we will come back. I gave it a second chance and it was still cold i do appreciate the server not charging us for our drinks but i am very disappointed in this. We have never had an issue.

The waitress was very rude and when I asked question she gave me a blank look like I should have known the answers. Plus Our plates were dirty, which is completely disgusting.

the waitress did not seem very interested in being there I ordered lemonade never received it the waitress never once came to check on how things were ran out of water she never came to table till she was getting our bill ready I was done eating, she then realized she never brought my lemonade said she was sorry. would I like a free one after I am done eating. I don't think so the cheese on my burger was a disgrace I could see thru it the burger had a little yellow tint which was the cheese could not even taste it. But none of this compared to my wifes order the waitress brought a sandwich to a table set it in front of the customers and left I watched them push it to the sida. 2 or 3 minutes later waitress reappeared and brought the sandwich to our table. I could not believe it I told my wife and told her I knew the people never touched it . but come on really take food from the wrong table then bring it to you I don't think so. her food should have been recooked. but she ate it. we go to sharis quite often and are always happy but most definetly were not this time

We entered Shari's around 9:30 pm. We were sat quickly. I ordered decaf coffee and my girlfriend just ordered water. it took some time for us to get our drinks and when we received them there was roughly a full teaspoon of grounds in my coffee cup. We then sat and waited for our server to come back so we could get more coffee that didn't have grounds. She never returned. Our food took about 40 minutes and was delivered by another server. I asked her to take away the coffee as it was disgusting. We ate our food which was only slightly warm upon arrival. We then sat for another 30 minutes waiting for our bill until another server that was not ours came and asked what we were waiting for. I requested the coffee be removed, we paid and left. I have been going to that Shari's for 10 + years. I doubt I will return. Oh our absentee server's name was Holly and her number is 353529. This is the 3rd time I have gotten poor service from her this time being the worst.

Cold food, were not greeted or acknowledged when entering the door. Eventually we seated ourselves. Good came out cold after a 45 minute wait.

I ordered breakfast and it was just horrible. Toast wasnt even toasted. hash browns were cold and my BMP looked gross. My granddaughters mac & chesse. Pasta with some shredded cheese on it and some kind of sauce on the bottom? How is this Kraft Mac & cheese. Re ordered and eggs were suppose to be over med and came hard. All of it was just gross
