Sharis is my family's favorite restaurant...

Love Shari's!!! Was a busy night and though there was seating available, only one person working the front end and they got busy with the paying customers on the way out. The waiting room was full and there was discussion that someone else needed to help get people seated.

There was an ant in my menu and the eggs were not fantastic. Stuffed hash browns and crape were great tho

It was a little disappointing that the Nachos were soggy because I have ordered them several times and they usually put tomatoes in small bowl but this time they didn't.

The biggest problem I have with eating at Sharis is the noise the waiters make when they remove the dishes from the tables and place them in the bins. They just slam them in and you feel like you are in the kitchen and they are doing the dishes!!!! This happens ALL the time!!! It is the main reason I don't eat there more often. There is NO reason for them to do it so noisily, especially when it is right in the middle of the serving areas, its not like you can ask to be seated farther away from the wait center, as loud as they slam in dishes in the bins you hear it no matter where you sit; and then the kitchen help come rattling in with their big cart to take all the dishes to the kitchen. I dont expect a 'fine dining' experience, just less noise. It is a easily resolved situation. I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds this disconcerting. Also, we went on Friday night for the prime rib, I ask the waitress for medium rare and was told it wasn;t available...only 'medium' WHY??

I was highly satisfied for this type of eatery. This type of eatery does not highly satisfy me.

We tried the Beer Battered Fish and Chips. It was okay but greasy and not a lot of flavor. I think mainly what it is, is I am spoiled with Halibut Fish & Chips so when I eat Cod Fish & Chips, unless it is spectacular, it doesn't measure up to the Halibut but this Cod Fish & Chips could have been thicker pieces.

Our hash browns were not browned. they were just a yellow color from butter?

I like a bigger portions of fries with my meal.
