Shari's

For a few months I have been missing the carrots and onions that used to be on your side salads, the side salads I used to think were the best in town. This visit you had changed to a less tasty dinner roll, too. Most of all though I miss the many familiar faces that are now gone from both the north and south Shari's. I don't know what's going on with Shari's in Bend but it doesn't look good.

The gravy on the pot roast was really thick and a little over salted

Solid food and service. Usually our meals are served promptly but this time it took a bit longer than usual - at least 20 minutes.

The manager Sherry could be a little friendlier than making you feel like you are an inconvenience. Sonya our server was excellent.

It was a pick up order that my daughter went to get for us since I was home sick. She asked for balsamic vinaigrette for my salad which they said they had but it was not in the bag when she got home. No big deal.

It was a good experience. Alicia, our server was awesome. She was super friendly and attentive.

I ordered sausage with my breakfast and they were very undercooked. The inside was cold/raw and not very safe to eat!!! They replaced them and they were fine but still not really cooked especially when dealing with pork meat! You need to review your cooking temperatures and process for preparing safe food. Also, our bread was loaded with piles of butter/margarine. It had so much, we needed to scrape it off with a knife. Gross... Overall, the food quality was mediocre at best. This is disappointing because we have never had a bad experience at Shari's before. Was not worth even the discounted price we paid for the Farmers Breakfast Standard. There are lot's of great places here in Bend to get a wonderful breakfast and Shari's was definitely not one of them today.

We quit eating at this Shari's several months ago after a couple of disappointing trips (food, not the wait staff). We thought we'd take another chance today. There was too much dressing on the Caesar salad, and the quiche lorraine had the bacon and green onions on the top. Quiche is supposed to have the ingredients mixed into it. I will never order this again if I return to Shari's. We've just had way too bland a food experience at Shari's in the past few months. Please know, though, that the wait staff here is great!

Rec'd an e-mail from Shari's telling about Pie Day celebration. I interpreted the e-mail to mean that my family of four would receive a slice of pie for $1 each. When I went to pay bill I rec'd an adjustment for only the card carrier. That would mean that each member of the family would have to enroll in your card program. I re-read the e-mail and it did not clearly note that ONLY the card carrier would get the $1.00 pc of pie.

We didn't receive everything we paid for.
