it all started with my cranberry cooler, I tried to stir it but the teaspoon didn't look clean, returned it. when the quiche plate was served i dug in but the second bite was a large wad of slimy hair & ?? finally got server's attention. sorry, & took it back to kitchen. manager came with sorry, what can we get you. I ordered the same quiche plate without a slimy hair wad. after a wait I was told that the quiche base was thrown out & a new one was being thawed, there would be a waited. OK when the new quiche was served it was still cold in the middle, there was no muffin or toast that normally comes with the plate, just melon slices. then the bill arrived with a sorry we won't charge you for quiche, but I was miffed to find I was charged for drink. no sorry as I went out the door.

We were very happy with our visit and very satisfied with the food , service and atmosphere.

The waiter was extremely rude and immediately disrespectful because I requested seating where I could keep an eye on my service vehicle. Then he took my order down wrong didn't offer to fix it. looked at all my food which was uneaten on my plate

ordered grilled cheese sandwich. Came undercooked, soggy, soaked. Sent back only to overhear the loud comments of the cook complaining that I had sent it back. Received replacement sandwich, just as bad. Eaten at this location for many years, usually very good. Whoever the current cook is....very bad and bad attitude.

so much to say . 'k first the manager sat us with an attitude as if he obviously didn't want to be there cold unwelcoming disdain. the waitress brought us water in a dirty cup with something black inside the bottom of the cup the food took 30 minutes to arrive for grilled cheese sandwich n macaroni n cheese for my kids which was less then half the the regular portion normally my daughter takes home some leftovers saddened my father on vacation here for a couple days orders there best steak n baked potato n I have a small 4 oz steak both medium rare. and i had French toast. the steaks both arrived cold well done and dry as well as the baked potatoe cold n dry even with butter and sour cream cold all around its as if the food was sitting all day and reserved and reheated under the heat lamps that would explain the warm exterior n cold center of both steaks and the French toast was hard as if stale old bread was used and burnt to where it ruined the flavors Discussed saddened AND offended by these people working in customer it wasn't even busy and there was plenty of help

Strawberry pie was NOT fresh. The strawberries were old, dried, and had mold on them. The whipping cream was not fresh. 🙁

The waitress was so rude and short. Took 40 minutes to take our order and another 15 to get it. Food was okay but not good. Waitress took my plate before I was finished and it clearly still hard food on it without asking. We had to ask for our pie after sitting for 15 minutes after receiving our check (we got the lunch trio). Very poor service!

When the waitress sat us, she asked "just water?" instead of asking what we wanted to drink. Waitress seemed very disinterested even though there were not many people in the restaurant, when the order was placed and salads were brought out, one of the dressings that I asked for wasn't there. Then it took forever to get the waitress's attention to get the second dressing, then my husbands drink sat empty for the remainder of the meal. When the entree came, she forgot to tell the cooks for my gravy on the side so my meal was being remade and she wasn't very apologetic, then when my entree did come, my potatoes were cold, it was missing the roll, my husbands drink was still empty, and before we could ask for help, she was gone again. Then once again we had to get the waitress's attention to get the roll. When the roll came I had cut into my steak and it was pretty raw but I was really over trying to get her attention or make it right, didn't want the cooks to spit on my food with another issue. At the end she took the drinks off our bill, not a meal, and never asked if we wanted desert which we were going to get. So I guess it was good we didn't order desert or refills.

I have been in three times in ten days at various times of day and they have not had any of the advertised salmon chowder. Also this visit we ordered shrimp skewers and half of them were only partly grilled and when we sent them back the cook simply micro waved them a little. We are regular customers of Shari's and have been for years this is NOT acceptable!!!

I picked up a pie to take home and it tasted terrible. It was the Meyer lemon Raspberry meringue pie. I picked it up on Christmas Eve and we ate it Christmas evening. It was so bad my guests could not finish the pieces they had. It tasted as if the raspberries were bad. I am thankful though because I called the store where I picked up the pie and they are going to give me a new pie. Although I think getting my money back would be better. This is not a deal breaker, I will return to your establishment because for the most part every visit before has been great. I just hope that this was a fluke.
