Shari's

When we arrived, there was one couple ahead of us waiting to be seated. The sign said “Please wait to be seated.” There were plenty of tables available, so we expected to be seated promptly. A woman came in after us and went directly to the counter. The greeter wrote her name on a list, so we went up and gave our name, although we thought it strange that there was a waiting list in a half-empty restaurant. Another couple came in and the greeter asked them to give their name, while the rest of us stood there in line. The greeter then escorted the couple who were ahead of us to a table, and then, the woman who had come in after us, saying “I’m taking people in the order in which they are listed.” Just as we thought he was about to take us to a table, another couple entered, and he went back to the counter to take their name. At this point we objected that we wanted to be seated without further delay, and the greeter started arguing with us. He continued to argue, rather rudely in our opinion, as he finally took us to a table.

The food was bland,over priced,didn't look like photo,soup was not ready, and our last experience 3 strips of bacon was 5 dollars.

I was actually satisfied with the visit as a whole. The food was standard, which is what I would expect from Sharis. Not a 5 star restaurant for sure, but good bang for your buck.

It took close to a half hour after ordering to get food. The food was at best warm. My husbands medium rare prime rib breakfast was medium well, no pink at all. As we were leaving, we heard waitress returning meal saying person had order medium rare and whatever it was, was overcooked also.

FIRST--FOOD WAS EITHER 'BURNT' OR NOT COOKED THROUGHOUT.. THE WAITRESS HAD '' 1 '' OTHER CUSTOMER AND 1 CAME IN WHILE THERE --THIS WAS JUST AFTER 10 PM ON A WED. NIGHT.. WAITRESS WAS POLITE AND NICE WHEN SENT MY FOOD BACK TO FINISH COOKING IT... IN THE MEANTIME THE '' COOK '' !!! AS SHE WAS PREPARING OUR FOOD WAS '' EATING'' AS SHE DID EVEN WHEN WE WERE PAYING FOR OUR MEAL ... OUR WAITRESS HAD ''BLOWN HER NOSE'' NEAR HER STATION AN D 'NEVER' EVEN WASHED HER HANDS AFTERWARDS.... I AM A 71 YR. OLD WOMEN WHO DOESN'T COMPLAIN TO MAKE AN ISSUE.. IN OREGON ONE HAS TO HAVE A ''FOOD HANDLERS'' CARD-- YOU ARE TO KNOW THE 'RULES'' APPARENTLY THIS ''STORE'' DOESN'T CARE ENOUGH ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS ... PRETTY DISGUSTED ACTUALLY AS I HAD JUST BEEN ON AIRPLANES ALLDAY TRAVELING TO GET HOME TO EUGENE AND WANTED SHARI'S FOOD -- WON'T HAPPEN AT THIS STORE UNLESS I GET DESPERATE ---- THERE ARE ''LAWS' IN OREGON ABOUT THAT ''COOK'' AND THIS STORE WILL BE TURNED INTO ORE. HEALTH DEPT. AND YOU CAN THANK 'YOUR EMPLOYEE'' FOR THAT !!!!!!!!!

I had to get another waitress to refill water, bring a fork when I had the pie with ice cream served. The waitress, Grace, was not busy, just ignored me.

Eggs ordered over easy, delivered over hard. Hashbrowns burned. Flavourless ingredients. Food not up to temperature. Facilities look rundown.

The vegetables with my meal were cold. This is the third time this has happened with the vegetables, twice at this restaurant and once at another Shari's. By the time I got my vegs back my other food was gone. I was also disappointed in only getting one small piece of fish with the sampler. The whole experience was not worth it.

I could see only two waitresses plus a manager and greeter on duty to handle the two sides of the dining area plus walk-in pie buyers. This restaurant needs more wait staff than that. We had to wait for coffee and then another lengthy wait for our food. We like this place but did not like the wait tonight.

daniel, dosent even know what an apple waffle is, seems like the manager has a thing for in compentent workers like dan, jill and steve birds of a feather i guess, hey coroparate time for thomas to be replaced, let shawn be manager here, do a better job than thomas
