Shari's

Meals have been cheapened. Less food, salads seem to be just lettuce, two tomatoes. Value just doesn't seem to been there anymore, We are starting to use other resturants in our area

It took the two of us 20 minutes before being seated. The waitress, Tammy, was real nice and efficient but the food didn't arrive for 30 minutes and it was cold. The hash browns were white and barely cooked. That's the cooks fault. We then had to wait 15 minutes standing in line to pay the bill. Altogether, we were there 1 hr. and 20 min. Long time to get eggs and hash browns. This appears to be the norm at this Shari's. We have no problem at Shari's in Springfield.

While our server was nice, she was very distracted and difficult to get her attention. I even tried to get the attention of the manager on duty to get our server, but without any success. The visit started with her being slow with getting drinks; I had to ask 3 different times to get a decaf coffee. We didn't get the requested dip with our appetizer. I ordered a BBQ Bacon Burger with the BBQ sauce on the side, but the sauce was on the sandwich; I didn't bother with asking for that to be corrected as I was tired of waiting for items. We waited about 20 minutes after we finished eating to even get someone to come over for us to ask for a to go box, then it still took about 10 minutes to get the to go box and the pie. Overall I felt this is the worst experience I have had at this location.

It took a long time to even be asked what our name was to put on the list. Then waited. Once seated, drinks took a long time. The waitress said our food order will take a long time, so she asked if we wanted an appetizer. I ordered a side of fries. They came out shortly before our food, which defeated the purpose of ordering the appetizer. I ordered the Valentine's Day special. I never received the soup I was supposed to. The steak was tough and overcooked. The vegetables were mushy. I was charged for my slice of pie, which was supposed to be included. It was a crumby experience. I'm a single mom of two kids, and we rarely eat out. This was disappointing to me, because it's such a special event when we do get to go to a restaurant.

Got seated, hostess took our drink order then never brought the drinks for over 9 minutes, we had to reorder them. I got my food it was way over cooked, the cheese was like rubber and tasted like it was very old. I couldn't eat it and had to have the waitress take it away. Our waitress was incredibly "fake happy" with us. She wasn't rude, just not anywhere close to genuinely friendly. I am ashamed at how I was told "no" when I asked if Shari's offered a military discount. The response was like I was asking for all my food to be free... and for the record after 42 years of active military service and 5 combat tours, I think my wife and I deserve better treatment. Lastly, I mentioned to the waitress 2 times point blank that it was my daughter's birthday... she never once even bothered to wish her a happy birthday. Your service and your meals are severely lacking and there is no way my family will ever return to another Shari's restaurant again.

It's not possible to list everything in 3 sentences as its been over several visits. I left a Google review and still have had no one reach out and try to rectify any of the many issues

Waitress Holly is rude, and inattentive. She brought our check directly to the table immediately after placing my order and I had not even eaten my food yet. Maybe I wanted desert? She didn’t refill our drinks and I come here regularly and she is always the same way. When approached, she said nothing and acted like she didn’t care. Ruined my whole meal, the environment and I felt uncomfortable with her and my food.

Over-all food was cold or still frozen/we were rushed through our meal barely had time to enjoy when our table was cleaned up (felt rushed). Other tables were available but got seated by kitchen door (extremely noisy and got to hear all the reasons why the employees didn't want to be there). Took a long time to get noticed to be seated and to pay. Overall food tasted bad (funny) had frozen choc cream pie and cold/frozen yam (mentioned this to staff-their answer was "oh just running short and laughed" and left. My piece of pie was totally frozen unable to eat. The only hot items was the fries and they were overcooked. One of the worst meals I have had at Shari's won't do that again.

Saw ad for ham or turkey dinners. Ordered turkey, when it came was lukewarm turkey and Vegas, gravy warm. Very dissatisfied. You r breakfasts are usually ok, but will never order a dinner again. The whole place was unorganized, and when we went in they were not busy so no reason. When I told the server about being cold food she offered more hot gravy. That doesn’t do anything for Vegas , Turkey or potatoes. Also hate your dinner salads, go back to the old ones.
