I have ordered the spinach cob salad many times before at this location. I believe because this was a take out order they threw it together using half the ingredients they normally use. There was barely any spinach and less than half the chicken they normally use. This was the worst made salad I have ever received at this sharis.

I have been going to Sharis over the past years as it is my mothers favorite restaurant......however since our last visit several months ago the quality of food has declined. I ordered the chicken fried steak...it was tough, the gravey was lumpy and what was supposed to be mashed red potatoes was something unidentifiable-gray, slimmy glob....all served at room temperature. My mother received old, wilted unedable slices of watermelon. I must tell you, our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating; but sadly I don't think we would ever return and attempt to eat such horrible food again.

Seating hostess was overly friendly to the point of sappiness & talked over me when I requested the gluten free menu near the entrance. At table, we had ample time to look over menus (one of the few things we were highly satisfied with). Upon ordering, our waiter didn't write anything down. He stated he would type it all into terminal, then go talk to cook regarding gluten free order. Unfortunately, he didn't write down "eggs over medium, broken yolk" & they were served with yolk intact. FYI, when a gluten free person orders eggs this way (broken yolk) that means they really prefer scrambled, but need to verify that they get a fresh egg (not from a box that might contain gluten). When our food was served, we only had a spoon. Tried to flag waiter, couldn't find him. I got up to get my own fork & knife, and that's when I realized that the floor underneath our table was coated with dried, sticky soda. The spill covered 75% of the floor, leading me to believe it was noticed & ignored. Upon finishing, I saw lipstick print on my glass, I don't wear lipstick. Told waiter all this as we paid, NO apology or reaction from him. Not even "I'll get a mop" or "sorry about that" :(

Bad Shari'S

Our server, Steven, was great, he was the only team member who put on a professional and courteous face while attending to his guests. We initially had to wait about 4 minutes before even being acknowledged, as the general manager looked on. Employees argued about seating people, we could tell there was already conflict happening, and we waited almost 5 minutes before being properly greated and seated. One guy seemed to yell across the room at customers and employees. "Be there in a minute!" While we waited, management and employees argued, dishes were slamming around, you could hear raised voices and anger. When we received our food it looks to be thrown together, literally. The cheese wasn't on the hamburger, the potatoes were cold and UNCOOKED. My spouses order was entirely wrong, and we had to wait for her new order. Again the cook, named Scott, was yelling and angry at his servers because the server was telling him "extra horse radish", and one order had needed an add on bacon, which the server had to point out the the cook, Scott. We will NEVER go back the sharis again. This was the most awkward, unprofessional & ill-kept restaurant we have ever been to, hopefully the last

Took 10 minutes to be greeted at the door, waited 10 minutes for a table when there were at least 12 vacant, asked the manger why and he said they were busy, explained to him we were on lunch and he said oh I can seat you now, no menus, had to ask, waited 15 minutes to get a waitress attention to order, finally ordered, Ordered the 1/2 sandwich/soup/pie for $8.99, Thought if it took longer than 15 minutes it was free, it took 21 minutes. My sandwich was with my friends soup and her sandwich was with my salad. Had to switch them out. My grilled cheese was cold as it had sat up there waiting to be delivered to my table. Finished eating and sat there and sat waiting for a ticket to pay, finally had to walk up to the register to pay and she could not print the ticket as the machine was having issues? Finally after 10 minutes got the ticket to pay. Worst experience ever from the employees and the restaurant was not busy, only half full and during lunch at 1 p.m. Thank you,
