Shari's

Our waiter was very slow in coming to our table. Another Waitress saw we had been sitting for a length of time and came over to help us.

Where we were seated was not warm. The food was not very hot. The coffee was very strong. We have been to several other Shari's and have always enjoyed the service and the meals. This time we were disappointed. They could learn from the Shari's in Central Point, OR. This will not stop us from coming to Shari's in the future. We may even try this one again, maybe we caught them on a bad day.

Everything was wonderful except the food. I had pancakes. I think I have just gotten accustomed to good, whole grain food. They just did not taste like real food to me. I confess I liked the syrup whether it was healthy or not. The coffee was a little strong for me, too.

The family went to sharia to order milk shakes, pie milk shakes. They were very thin. We were expecting thick shakes. As we paid 5.99 we were hoping to receive good thick milk shakes.

I love all of the servers, I usually only have problems in the morning time with a couple of the people working there. I like coming to sharis, only at night but because it the morning people it's not a place I would recommend to friends during the day because I know they would also be dissatisfied with service. Nothing wrong with cooks, or servers!

We were at Shari's in Grants Pass on Sunday evening 2/18/18, My omelette was crispy on one side so I tried to eat around the crispiness I showed this to the waitress and she tried to help. My wife's order was incorrect -- she ordered a regular steak and got chicken fried steak. The waitress got her a new steak, but it was slow in coming. We have been to Shari's several times and this is the first time we have been dissatisfied. I do not blame the waitress as she seemed to be overworked and was responsible for too many tables. Also, the temperature in the restaurant was very cool that evening.

It was a little busy and one waitress was doing a fantastic job. Consuelo was slow and not very helpful. Took forever to take our order. Was not offered drinks when she sat us. Never came back to ask how food was. It was burnt. We were in a hurry so we ate it. When we left Consuelo never asked how the food was or how anything was. Had to ask for reciept so I could do survey. Very disappointed with overall service. Wish we could have had other server. Consuelo had a large number of rings on fingers that not only looked tacky but food could have gotten into them. Very unsanitary looking. Won't be going back to this Shari's for a long time. Will also be talking to friends and family about service.

This is the second time I ordered the Prime Rib Benedict. The first time, the meat was sliced and piled on. It was excellent. This time there were only crumbs and a lot of fat. It seemed to be the scrapings from the pan. If they were out of the prime rib, they could have told me and I could have ordered something else.

the place was slow and it took a while to even be approached. i ended up sitting at the bar. no one asked if i wanted coffee or a coke, i had to ask. food was OK, but the over all service was a fail. also they were cleaning the pie cabinets during the dinner rush and i was crowded at the bar with all those pies sitting OUT IN TH OPEN. this could have been done during the midnight shift. what they should have been working on was their salad prep station, from the bar it looked a wreck.

I ask for my toast to be dark, it was not, ask for my hash brown to be extra crispy they were not, and were cold. The waitress offered to re due them, if I were by myself I would sent it back. But I was with my wife and we like to eat together. It should have been done right the first time.
