Took over 1 hour to get our food. Then had to send one order back. Had to get up and find my own ketchup. Then had to find a sever not ours to ask for jam. Never got checked on once. Then when our server did make it around it took forever. Also it was my grandsons 10th birthday and he chose Sharis to celebrate even told the server and still no free ice cream for him. What a big let down. Mind you our bill was over 100.00 dollars and it was NOT BUSY. We come in for breakfast a lot, very seldom for dinner now I know why.

I was confused about the charges since I had a coupon for money off and one for a free appetizer. An employee came over to help the person whose name is on my receipt. She didn't explain it to me well and when I asked for a copy of the detailed receipt (with the items listed), she just printed out someone else's receipt for me! Then I asked to see the copy of a receipt I gave her with my free appetizer code on it and she couldn't be bothered. I did not get her name but she was a few months pregnant. It was not Tanyell E. -- the name on my receipt. Tanyell E was nicer but she forgot my soup so I had to go back in to get it. (It was a Take Out order.)

Slow overall; food was especially slow in coming. One in our party even had to leave with her food to go because she could wait no longer! The rest of us just suffered through it. Not our usual Shari's experience, but one that disappoints very highly!!

Waitress LaLo was very rude and very unprofessional. When asking her a question concerning an item on the menu she was quick tempered and had a very nasty attitude. This was my first visit there and I felt unwelcome and dissatisfied which made me feel very uncomfortable.

We ordered a New York Steak with shrimp on top. The picture in menu should a juicy looking steak. Ours came dry. lukwarm,no shrimp and very tough. We could not eat it, it was like shoe leather. We ordered it rare, it came med-rare as expected. The waitress offered to cook it some more, thanks but no thanks more cooking wouldn't make the steak more tender. She offered us a sirlion steak. We declined the lower quality cut. We were very dissappointed! usually the New Yorks are very good. this time was a waste of $16.49. At least we got credit on our rewards card.

We ordered Mex skillets. Temp was lukewarm, Unappealing in look with slice of cheddar part Melted on what looked like an unappetizing Mixture. Hash browns soggy, flavor bland. My Mom took two bites and stopped. We took it home for dog. Usually love hash browns, but This rated a zero!

There were black plastic chips in my coffee that looked like paint chips. The waitress saw me spit it out onto a napkin and got the PIC. The Pic came to my table and started arguing with me, telling me that it was old coffee. First off, why is the PIC arguing instead of apologizing? Secondly, why would Shari's be serving old coffee to their guests? Shouldn't they be making fresh coffee often? These chips were actually in my mouth and tasted nothing like coffee. Her attitude was very condescending and I was not at all happy about the way she approached me. If I hadn't been there with family that I haven't seen in years, I would've walked out. The coffee carafes are old and the black plastic inside the mouth of them are chipping and I ended up getting it in my coffee. I saved the chips to be tested.

My strawberry lemonade was highly dissatisfying it tasted like water. The waitress wasn't very attentive. Then to top it off part of my food was cold. And it took way longer to get my check than it should've.
