Shari's

It's just an average breakfast place, wasn't impressed with choices on the menu. But nothing was wrong... so i'm just satisfied. not HIGHLY satisfied.

time to receive food

I ordered a hamburger -- one I've had at Shari's before, and which I have liked very much in the past (bacon cheeseburger made with blue cheese crumbles rather than cheddar) -- but on this particular visit the meat was so overcooked that it was dry. Other than that, the visit was a pleasure in all ways.

I loved everything except the hasbrowns were a little greasy. However, the egg was perfect.

I found it difficult to find something I wanted to order. All the dishes seem overcomplicated. It would be nice to just have a burger or a large salad on the menu without a bunch of extras.

Shari's waitstaff is quick to take the order, then drop it off on the table. After that, no water refills, no callbacks to see how the food is, and no clearing of dirty dishes. This is at the 185th Shari's. Cedar Mill Shari's is especially bad. I have asked, "Do we have a waitress?" I do not go back there anymore.

average food

I was in a party of 4 which a couple ordered the trio and one a dinner at which time the salads were brought and by the time my grilled cheese arrived it was cold, soggy and nasty, but I ate it any way but will stress should I / we order like this again. I think all the food was prepared at the same time but salads were delivered first as the rest set on the counter. Had never see that waiter ( Donald ) before so is likely he was new but was super nice so don't want to complain about him. It I believe was a matter of getting the food out to us as it was prepared.

Didn't eat anything played lottery, then on my way out bought pie ,didn't have the triple pumpkin, so I got the triple chocolate pie

The Ladies restroom is extremely filthy. This was the 3rd time within 2 months that I have complained to a server about the need for the restroom to be cleaned. I've asked for a comment card and this survey has been their resolution. The only reason I continue to go there is I take a 88 yr old friend who likes the food. She is legally blind so can not see how filthy the restroom is. Makes one wonder if the kitchen is equally filthy? The restroom has not been cleaned for months. It's not a case of the toilet needing to be cleaned or the trash emptied. The edges and corners of the floor are filled with gunk.
