The waiter was nice. However my husband ordered medium well steak. When the meal was brought to us the steak was mangled as though it had been eaten off. The waiter took the entire plate back to the kitchen, returned with the plate minus the steak. We assumed an entire new meal would be provided when the steak was redone because now the sides were Cold. That wasn't the case. My husband had to ask for new sides, the waiter took the steak back to the kitchen replated with new sides however when brought it back they forgot the gravy. At this point my husband just wanted to eat. The waiter offered a free slice of pie, but later never asked us what we wanted so we never got pie. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich. When brought to me, it was cold and hardly had any cheese in it. Completely dissatisfied with a $32 meal!!

The waitress was very unfriendly. There were two servers at the front desk yet none of them greeted us and we kept standing waiting for almost 5-10 minutes before anyone greeted us! Then the waitress was unfriendly, took a long time to get our order, and got it wrong the first time. The food didn't taste good. I even got upset stomach after that, and had to stay home the day after!

I ordered first for your menu a Nacho stack w/ chicken and a Prime rib stroganoff after 7 or 10 minutes the server come to tell me they don't have chicken for the nacho stack of is no problem to do with pork I tell the server is okay, the server come 5 minutes later and told me they don't have pasta for my other order so I have to change everything I planned to eat. Finally after another 15 or 20 minutes the server come with my food in no very good shape. To finish I order Key lime pie and the server come back to tell me they're running out of that pie!!! So was very frustrating my visit to the restaurant and is no the first time happen this kind of bad timing for food and variety! Sincerely Fernando Alvarez

We just ordered hamburgers and it took forever. When we got them they were burnt and dry. The fries were way over cooked and tasted as if the oils needed changed. Couldn't even finish.

My Fiance and I were seated fairly quickly upon arrival. On our way to the table my Fiance asked for coffee right away. We sat at the table and waited for over 10 minutes, no coffee, no menus, and no waitress showed up. while waiting, both my fiance and I watched a waiter wipe his mouth with a napkin and return to work. He did not wash his hands after touching his face, gross. Upon this incident, I went up to the manager and let her know the problems. She said she seated us but didn't hear the request for coffee and she would speak to her employee about what he did. As I was speaking to the manager, a waitress walked up to us, turned around, and rushed over to my table. The waitress didn't ask what kind of coffee, she just gave my fiance decaf, not what he wanted but drank it anyway. I only wanted water. However, both of our water glasses were filthy with chunks of food on the inside of the glass, ew. While I waited to inform my waitress, a very nice waiter showed up and fixed the problem and then informed the manager. I ordered potato pancakes which turned out to have the texture and flavor of mashed potatoes. I have more to say and not enough room, call me @ 503-709-8678. Thanks

I have lived & worked in Hillsboro, OR for the last 46 years. I enjoyed meals with my deceased parents and now with my children & grandchildren. We had a five for Prime Rib on 1/16/16 and a couple of bottles of wine. My 48 year old daughter was my driver...

We walked into the restaurant and were greeted nicely. Satisfaction ended there. We were seated. The person seating us did not take out drink order. We sat there for 15 to 20 minutes (The restaurant was not at all busy). Staff joking and laughing and NO ONE came over. We flagged down the manager who was on the phone. She came over we told her no one has helped us yet and others seated after us had been helped. Her response was "Well what can I get you". She was obviously annoyed. I don't know if it was at us or her staff, but... yeah. Once we told her the problem and she placed our order it came out fast, my soup, however, was cold. I could not get anyone's attention to fix it and we could not get anyone's attention for a check. It was ridiculous. Then I had to pay for a meal that I didn't even enjoy. $26.76 down the drain.

Received partial order, food was cold, waited 27 minutes for food, got items that I didn't even order and was charged for them! Never received check!!

My child's food had a hair in it. Yeah they replaced it but overall I feel like I shouldn't have to pay for it. They our waitress left & left a waiter to finish up with us but we still had to pay for everything! My family will not be returning to this Shari's! And this isn't the first time we've had problems.
