Shari's

Ordered the prime rib special and prime rib dip. The prime rib dip was okay, but the Prime rib steak was COLD to the touch, and trying to eat the cold fat was terrible, even the baked potato was so cold it would not melt the butter. We didn't complain and send it back because (sorry but I watch too much TV) I did not want anyone to spit in my food. We have went to this same restaurant several times for the prime rib and we were never happy with the temperature, and suggested they seer the steak on the grill for about 10 seconds on each side but the waitress said the cook wouldn't do it. We have had it served that way at other restaurants and was very satisfied. Anyway, we will not go back for the prime rib.

when I ask the waitress how to use a coupon before ordering I was told it had to be over 10.00. the coupon stated under 10.00 when I ask the waitress how that was when all dinners were over 10.00? the second dinner was supposed to be 4.99. she assured me it was for any dinner over 10.00. then after eating we took the coupon to the register it would not work. then I was told it was for dinners under 10.00. too late we had already ate the food. I was not given the second dinner for 4.99. we were charged for another coupon for less off. I would not have ordered what I did if I could not use that coupon. they did nothing to correct the situation, the coupon should be changed it states a dinner entre under 10.00 your dinner entre are all 11.99 not under 10.00. I would take it that the coupons were designed when your prices were lower and never updated?

My husband and I entered the restaurant and immediately noticed a terrible smell. My husband said wet dog, I thought wet dirty cloth. We were seated and the attendant was nice enough, if not too nice, artificial is a word that would describe it. She was just as friendly with other customers and when we were paying our bill from our table, she came back from the register and ask if we new the couple sitting in the window booth. We said no, and she said oh, talk about coincidence, they have the same last name. (In the day of privacy and Hppa I thought that would be information that should not be made available). The food was bland, the eggs (scrambled) looked like they had been warmed over (brown and soggy) my husbands plate was a greasy mess from the hashbrowns and sausage. We were very disappointed.

The breakfasts at Shari's are vey good and we like the pies. The lunch I had yesterday was not very good - the lettuce was wilted and looked like it had been sitting out a long time. I used to love to order tea at Shari's because you would get the hot water, a selection of teas, honey and lemon. This time all I was served hot water and 2 Lipton tea bags (Lipton is not very good tea). The fish I had was not very tasty - undercooked batter and the fish was not fresh at all. It tasted like the box of frozen fish you get at the supermarket. Not very special. I don't mind spending the money if I get a good meal, so I was very disappointed in this meal. The fries were also soggy. No one asked how our meal was or I would have said something. I felt that everyone was so busy and were just trying to keep up with the orders. On a more pleasant note, my husband did enjoy his hamburger.

Arrived at 12:02 pm, took order fairly quickly, did not get order until 12:57 pm. My order came, but, my mom's order was not complete. My mom's order sat upon the counter too long. It was cold when she received it. My mom ordered two link sausage, which didn't arrive at all. Waitress never came back to check on us. When we communicated, they took too long to make it right. We had to go to Carl's Jr. to get her something to eat, how sad. Had to cancel order.

Joshua our server was very rude. His attitude sucked basically said he didn't care about customer service. We did not get the food we ordered. Strawberry waffle was served without strawberries and whipped cream and very hard. Loaded fries were cold, cheese was not even melted. Biscuits and gravy was lukewarm. Restaurant was empty!!!

We were a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 children. First, The coffee was cold and had to be reordered. I had tea, and was never offered a refill. Only two waters were brought to the table, even though we’d asked for all. (2 that came we’re for people who’d requested water with their meal) Our food sat on the shelf under the lights for over 20 minutes. I could see it from where I was sitting. Our waiter did not come by during that entire time. The food that arrived was not of the quality expected. My omelette was lukewarm and the hash browns were cold. While I sent mine back to be fix, others in the party did not. My son said he wouldn’t because he believed the food staff would spit in it. Gross. The restaurant was about 20% filled, so there was no excuse for the delay in food or poor waitstaff. I’ve eaten in Shari’s in many places, but this was the worst. We will not return.

Even though the restaurant was not busy it took over 5 min to be acknowledged and seated. For some reason two of our slices of pie were brought out way too early, way before our meals were brought out and they fell apart and became slimey. Our order was wrong and they had to bring out a separate small plate of dried out ham for my wife. My french fries were double dunked in the fryer and my cheeseburger was left on the side of the grill until it was dried out and crispy! This was the worst Thanksgiving meal My family has ever been served. My elderly parents could hardly chew the Turkey and Ham it was so over cooked and dry.

Took 20 minutes to get drinks. There was clearly no waitress for our section and when she finally arrived she took everyone's order before ours. She was rude and rushed us. We never got refills. My French toast was hard and dry
