Shari's

Our waitress did not notice us, even when taking the order at the booth next to us. Then she brought our food to another table - set it down - and then when the other patron said it was not theirs, took it back to the counter and let it sit there for almost 10 minutes before bringing it to us. We got our salads, then our entrees sat at the counter while the cook made the appetizers. We watched as the cooks dropped a mozzarella stick and some vegetables onto the counter and picked them up with bare hands and put it back on our plate. That really does not make you want to eat the meal - especially after having your plate given to someone else and not know if they also touched it. Other then Jeff and Liz - the whole crew is pretty lazy. Also don't like seeing the manager in the kitchen flirting with the cooks. She was more interested in getting a date then running the restaurant. Jeff had to tell the other waitresses to go take orders because the people were waiting a long time. Fire the current manager and promote Jeff.

Shari's was not very busy when we went in to have dinner; it was 7:00 pm. The Manager was the one who took our drink and food orders. He gave us our drinks and then did not see him for quite some time. We waited a very long time for our food, in fact, patrons who had come in after us, actually left before us. The person named on the receipt is not the person who served us. My husband's food was warm not hot and I had asked for my steak to be Medium/Well and it was charred flat. Not impressed at all with service or food. The new remodel is great and it is very bright and cheery in the establishment.

Tweekers doing drugs in bathroom brough to wait staff attention and she told us has been happing all night and did not even go bother to cheek. Brought coffee stine but no cups to busy chating with cook. Forgot to put in oder and restaurant very dirty.

Waitress never returned after delivering my order. Gave her 15 min to clear the table after I was finished. Left half my sandwich there since didn't have a box to take it home. She was upset because I said the first pot of coffee was not very hot but she did give me a new pot which was much better. Went to pay-took a long time to pay and I asked for a piece of pie to go but the manager had to let people pay their bill before he would help me even though I should have been first. I live in Lebanon and have gone to Sharis for several years and the waitresses have all been great and call me by name. The other manager is great. After this experience I have no desire to ever return. I will miss the people I have made friends with there.

We are vegetarian and were informed corp. has taken veggie burgers off the menu. We don't have many options other than that for our meals. That leaves a salad or a grilled cheese. Our server was wonderful and was as helpful as she could be, but corp. really ruined our our day. We eat at Shari's at least once every two weeks and will miss seeing our favorite servers there. We won't be coming back very often after this unless things change. We spoke to the manager about the problem and he was very dismissive and didn't seem to care. It is sad in this day and age when a vegetarian can't get a veggie meal.

I ordered specific items and asked detailed information on the items for my friend who just had three teeth pulled. I ordered mashed potatoes & gravy and was told it was just that. When I received the order the gravy had large pieces of fried onions included in the gravy. Also I ordered a CUP of tomato soup. When I received the soup, the container had 4oz of soup. Unfortunately the temperature on all food was cold. Again I had specifically asked when ordering portion sizes and ingredients.

First of all the portion size decreased. New menus? Primary reason...Wednesday night is free pie night. WRONG. Tonight (While your menu still says it's free pie night) the waitress informs us that only certain pies are free from now on. Also, I must now pay $2.00 more for the pie I have been getting for free. Worse yet, according to my receipt, my pie costs only $1.00 more that the other pies and yet you charge me $2.00 up charge. Tomorrow night my pie only costs $1.00 more, but on free pie night I get screwed out of another dollar. If that was not enough, There's not even a manager on duty to field all the complaints I heard about. There was only a poor lead person left to hear all the complaints..SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!

When i got home the order was wrong. They had bagged my order wrong and my husband would not eat it. He does not/will not eat onions and did not order any. He ordered a ham and cheese omelette with pancakes. I ordered 2 pancakes and a side of stuffed hash browns. They packed my stuffed hash browns in with his omelette. All you could smell is onions which were also put on top of the omelette. Went into garbage, /i do not eat meat/ he ate my pancakes. He was upset and planned on the omelette. Not enjoyable at all! It was almost midnight, we both had just gotten home from working/physical labor/ exhausted and supposedly retired but cannot survive on our social security, so we work every day, no holidays. We were not going to take the food back.

First of all, we had a toddler who was hungry and we had to wait to order for 25 minutes, however the waitress brought the toddlers dinner first. The rest of us had to wait. A waiter came around at the end of the meal and asked if there was anything we needed, when one person said could I get my piece of pie now, the response was, oh I only serve the drinks. We finally got a pie, but the rest of the party had to wait on us and the toddler was more than ready to go. I don't believe we will back at that Shari's for a long time if at all. We have had similar problem before and thought we would try it again, but with no success. I would not recommend that restaurant to anyone.
