The ONLY reason we weren't highly satisfied is that my husband contends he said he wanted the Trail Boss, and both the server and I heard he wanted the Bavarian. Who knows who is right???

Brittany and Edward were absolutely awesome. As we were getting ready to leave, Edward inquired how are visit was. We informed him even though we ate it, because BACON....it was tough and chewy. My daughter and I stopped in for dinner after a track meet in McMinville, on our way home to Gresham. We most likely will not be back in the next 30 days, as Newberg isn't in our normal route. BUT....the next time we drive through, we'll be sure to stop in and at least say hey!! Stay awesome! Friendliest staff at a Shari's I've ever experienced by far!!!

Nothing was bad. In fact the waiter was phenomenal! He told us he was brought in from another location for the day. I wish our local wait staff at this Shari’s was as great as he was. As for the food, the food was good. Nothing that made me want to call my family in East Texas and rave to them about it. But still, good.

It was chilly - there was cool air blowing out of a vent on a cold day. One of the onion rings was too large and the onion undercooked. Never was just fine though.

On Tuesdays, Shari's serves two soups: butternut and split pea w/ham. Both soups are very smooth texture and bland. Soups should be homemade with added character, ie more herbs and flavoring in the butternut; more chunks of peas and ham (not sure there was ANY ham in it) with a rougher texture. Perhaps shredded cheddar, smoked Gouda, or Pepperjack cheese garnishment would go a long way. Aside from Tuesday soup offerings, the baked potato soup is satisfying but also bland and smooth with microscopic bits of bacon.

Over all the experience was fine but I was under the impression the the mixed vegetables where supposed to be hot. The waitress did say she could get another plate but I had already eaten a portion of the vegetables. As for the room temperature is was cold 1/2 of the time especially sitting under a vent. Next time I will ask to sit away from the vent and not under it.

It appeared that the restraunt wasw under staffed. New waiters seemed a bit confused. Brenda was great as usual.

The pasta alfredo with chicken was very salty. When I mentioned this to the wait staff, all they did was shrug their shoulders.

We paid more for our meal than we expected to. It was not bad food. We had a good time but the price on our check caught us off guard.
