Shari's

The prime rib trail boss cut came without the au jus sauce plus the temperature of the prime rib was luke warm without the flavor that I had the previous week on 02/05/16 from the same Shari's restaurant. However it was cooked to my requested of meduim on 02/12/16 visit. My 02/05/16 the prime rib had full of flavor but it was cold and not cooked to medium rare. It was mostly rare. on 02/12/16 visit also my husband had the prime rib stroganoff and this dish lacked the prime rib flavoring and tasted too much sour cream of the stroganoff.

My husband & I used to have "date nights" on Wed b/c it was free pie night. He had a stroke in 3/15 so we hadn't been there since. The restaurant has been remodeled. While it looks nicer it seems much more cramped. There is more room in the front waiting area, which is great, because we had a longer wait that we used to. It was "free pie night" so it was busier and the waitresses were very busy. Hard to get ours to come back so we could tell her that my salmon was overcooked (SO SMALL of a piece!!)& dry; the vegs were soggy and that while she remembered to bring me honey & jam that she had forgotten to bring ketchup & to refill our drinks. We'll return because we like the "free pie night" and we have very few restaurants of this type in our town. I can't help but wonder though if the remodel cost so much that quality/quantity was sacrificed.

The A/C is too cold, especially in summer months; fans blow cold air down on customers and there does not seem to be any place to sit out of its reach. Since the renovation, menu items changed. I had ordered fish 'n chips on two separate occasions and they were not the original battered type, they were coated in corn meal or panko. Soups are not as good as before. 'Lite" meals are strictly salads.

The only issue I had was I placed my order online and added an extra side of fries with the burger. I was charged for the side but when I got home and opened the carton it does not appear to have an extra side of fries...only a single serving. What I would normally get ordering the burger in the restaurant.

I ordered a pie shake and did not receive the extra tin and was still charged full price.

The green beans with bell peppers and carrots tasted over cooked. I could barely eat any of them.

Our food was fine & so was the service. However, the manager Wanda, was very unprofessional. She was doing the cooking. She put up a burger in the window for another table, then went off to do something else. I could see all this as we sat at the counter. The server came and took the food to the customers. When she returned Wanda had wondered where the burger went, to which the server explained. This supervisor tells the server "what is wrong with you" loudly that we could hear all this. The server calmly told her, nothing is wrong with me. Wanda said she had forgotten to put mushrooms on the burger so why did the server take it out. The server simply stated that the order was ready & how was she to know that the mushrooms forgotten. Wanda was very rude to her & demanded she retrieve the burger. Then, Wanda comes out from the kitchen & tells my friend & I that she has to deal with these new servers who don't know what they are doing, and how she has to work soooo many hours and cover for these "incompetent" people. I felt that was very uncalled for as she was incompetent and forgot the mushrooms! Then to bad mouth a subordinate to customers ... very unprofessional.

Did not receive cheese requested for sandwich.

we just felt that there were too many customers vs. staff members. there were 12 tables to 2 servers.

We didn't have forks and we didn't get water refills
