Prime rib was overcooked the first time, tasted tainted, and was cold. It was tender. Waitress took it back to the kitchen for another piece of prime rib, the second attempt; again it was cold, cooked slightly closer to medium rare, was bland, and had about two ounces of fat for an eight once piece of prime rib. The dipping sauce wasn't hot. In either case, the plate itself was cold which didn't help keep the prime rib hot...if it ever was. The second small plate only had the meat and the potato with the horseradish and au jous. It didn't have the onion ring and toast. It appears the kitchen may be taking rare prime rib and attempting to finish it on the grill. Both pieces of prime rib were tender. But overall it failed. Only the waitress made this visit somewhat okay. I left her a fair tip for her effort.

They brought the wrong order to our table for my wife, the portions were small compared to the price, the soup that my wife had was supposed to be salmon, but she could not taste salmon in the soup. The fish was overcooked, the breading was dark brown.

This was 4 a.m. with no crowd and I ordered to go the ham and cheese omelette meal with stuffed hash browns and sourdough toast and an iced tea. Took forever, then wasn't given the iced tea, had to ask for it, then get home to find that I wasn't given my toast but was given the jam for it. Very irritating because I was home and could not do anything about it. Also, I paid almost $3 for a tiny to go cup of iced tea. It should be cheaper for to go because you get no refills when you get it to go. All in all, very displeased.

It took too long when we first enter to get seated along with and we got seated and we went to place our order it took a while and then when we ask for water it took awhile as well and they passed us with the water twice and in my party they ordered a steak and it did not seem like the size that it was supposed to be

We live in Newberg and have gone to the Newberg Sharis a lot over the years. Starting a couple of years ago service declined at the Newberg Shairs, most of this started with the relayout of the facility. It is bad enough that we normally go to the Sherwood Sharis. Tyipcally it takes as long to drive round trip, order and eat at Sherwood as it does at Newberg. It is bad enough that we start a cell phone timer when we sit down at Newberg, it seems to take around 30 minutes or more to order and get food at Newberg. People seem to be working but either the cooks need to add another cook or learn to get the food out faster. Not this time but it has happened to us at Newberg that it appeared that a waitress took too long (that complaint was handled many months ago) My email is pennwood@aol.com my Sharis card number is 6000 3081 2266 8969 reg code 191863

Ordered eggs Benedict ,eggs were hard cooked! Other order was hot turkey sandwich and bread was old seeded bread. Very unhappy

I was specific about being gluten free (highly allergic) there was toast on my meal, the waitress asked if she could just take the toast off? It had touched my food...no...replaced that dish; the dish was suppose to come with hashbrowns, no hashbrown...received a side of hashbrowns...eggs were now cold, tough bacon pieces. $9.99 for a highly disasatisfying meal. On the positive side: my husband enoyed his meal, and the waitress was sweet.

The menu has changed and it was hard to find a good sandwich on the menu. I ordered the French Dip (it was called something else) and when it came it looked like half a sandwich. The au jus sauce was way too much for the tiny little sandwich. The price seemed awful high for the portion that you receive. I was going to order a hamburger and I should have gone with my first choice. I received an e-mail from you and thought that everyone was awarded a prize for your summer promotion. Guess I will have to read them a little closer next time.

You have changed your menu again. do not like the food selections. not my kind of food. senior breakfast gone. your changed the free pie on Wednesday night. I have been eating at shari's for 30 years, but you have just about run me off as a customer.

The new menus were confusing. I ordered the cinnamastation meal which was pictured, but stated what I thought it said on the picture & got the meal with biscuits & gravy. I accepted the biscuits & gravy, but found them to be cold. The waitress took them back to get heated & returned them as being just warm not hot. The waitress removed the cost of our drinks as compensation for our misfortunes. The restaurant was very busy & meal preparation took much longer than usual as we frequent this Sharis fairly frequently. Previously, I have been very satisfied with the food & service.
