Shari's

My favorite thing to do when going out to eat, is usually to order breakfast, if it is available and appropriate. I ordered 2 eggs prepared over-medium, bacon, hash browns & sourdough toast. I had to send the eggs back THREE TIMES, before I finally just ate the eggs as they were delivered to me which is both were over cooked and hard. These were the same eggs, ALL 3 TIMES!!! by the time I decided that the cook didn't know what he was doing, the rest of my food was cold. Our waitress was aware of the problem, obviously, but when the check was paid we were honest with the girl who took the payment. She did not apologize, offer to reduce the tab, offer anything as way of compensation for extremely horrible food. My friend who ordered the Fish 'n Chips was served overcooked fish portions, which were greasy from being over cooked. it was not an appetizing meal that was put before her. I usually love to eat at Shari's, so I am very disappointed in this visit.

I love Shari's. It is my family's Go-To restaurant in Newberg. This trip was disappointing. Our server, Jasmine, was non-attentive, cold, we had to repeat my daughters order to her because she was, as she admitted, not paying attention. I had to flag her down more than once. I ordered the lunch trio and when I informed her I was ready for my pie she coldly asked what I wanted. My friend asked "what have you got?" Jasmine's response was a cold "a list a mile long" She NEVER asked if my friend wanted a slice of pie as well. She kept her back to my friend the whole time and almost acted like she wasn't there and my daughter and I didn't matter. Like I said, my family loves Shari's but if I were to come back and see Jasmine was my server, I would turn around and leave and go somewhere else.
