I ordered the Valentine's dinner for one on 2/14/18. Dinner was listed as $15.00 for Top sirloin steak, shrimp scampi, loaded potatoes, Willamette vegetables, soup or salad, garlic herb bread and ANY SLICE of OUR AWARD WINNING PIE. I was seated and the waitress took my order and when my dinner arrived not once did she check back to ask if I needed anything or how my dinner was!!! I was charged for my slice of lemon meringue pie. On at least three occasions she sat with customers next to me to visit. The dinner price was great, it was just everything that happened after I was served!!!!!

Ironically, I returned to this location to take advantage of one of the $10 certificates sent to me by Ms. Debbie Wolfe as compensation for the non-existent service I experienced the last time I attempted to eat here (I ended up leaving). I even came in before 5:00 so it wouldn't be busy (it wasn't at that time). It shouldn't take ten minutes just to be greeted and another ten minutes to place an order. Not once did anyone stop by after I'd finished the main dish (pie was part of the offer), although many employees did walk past me as I waited. I finally ended up going to the checkout counter to get the pie, pay, and get out of there. By then, business had picked up considerably; I counted 19 people waiting either to be seated or to pay. I informed the woman behind the counter--and several others around the door--know that the service was appalling, and that they definitely need a manager. Probably the best compensation you can offer patrons for this sort of "service" is gift certificates . . . to Denny's. I'm not coming back.

I pre-ordered, on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017 during the afternoon to 2 pies for Thanksgiving. I ordered 1 chocolate creme pie and 1 pumpkin pie, order to be picked up on Thanksgiving day between1:30-2:00PM. I arrived, they told me the chocolate creme pie was sold out. All I heard was,"I'm sorry...I'm sorry" This was at Lynnwood, WA. I pre-ordered it for a reason and they told me it was sold out, no chocolate creme pie. So, I got an apple pie, as a make-do dessert...my family was totally disappointed and ruin our dessert. Also, I was charged for the apple pie, and had to pay a total of $19.98. There was no offer of a credit or any offer from the Manager that I spoke to. All I heard was "I'm sorry...I'm sorry". This is totally unacceptable and I have bought pies at this cafe over the past several years and this was the first time this has happened. I would like some answers from your organization why this can happen, when I pre-ordered the pies 5 days in advance. Please respond. Thank you, Jan Fisk (kiiko54@comcast.net)

We work graveyard and visited this location for our lunch break. It took forever to be seated, and place our order. All we were hoping for was nachos. We sat in this restaurant for 35 minutes and ran out of time to eat. I requested to pay for my soda and leave. Our server, James had a bad attitude. I was shocked and can honestly say this is the worst service I have had in a long time. There was only one other person in the restaurant. I just don't understand.

Mashed potatoes and vegetables were cold. Server never checked back to ask how the food was. Didnt refill my drink. Unknowledgeable about rewards program. Visit lasted way too long.

I had a long day and we stopped to have something to eat and the sampler and a side of french toast (which is one slice) came to 15.99. The food arrived cold and the portion size was small. It was around 1:00 am so they were not busy. They had no pancake mix so we ended up with a biscuit and gravy which was not good. We asked for a side of french toast and our waiter asked do want an order or just a side. He told us that an order was 3 pieces and a side was 2 so we just got a side. He had already taken the menus so we did not know the price but the side that we were told was 2 pieces was one slice cut in half to make 2 pieces not 2 pieces of french toast.

The whole process took forever. The waiter was not sympathetic, didn't try to make things happen. We waited almost an hour for our food! The waiter knew we were frustrated, did not offer anything ($ off the bill, free pie, nothing). We are regular customers there and this was the worst experience we've ever had at a Shari's. Absolutely awful, the waiters lack of empathy made it even worse.

When I told the server about all the bones in the salmon, she got irritated and condescendingly said,"I don't know what to say. It has bones. It's a fish!" Unbelieveable.
