Shari's

The tables are a little too close together making it a little difficult to get in and out of your chair. Couldn't sit at a booth, benches and tables too close. Our waitress was new but did a wonderful job.

I went in knowing what I wanted, got it, it tasted good, and just didn't talk very much with the employees. It was my choice. It had nothing to do with the employees.

Our server kept getting called away from our table by another associate. It interfered with our service and we were kept waiting for our food.

It was very busy, but we were seated in a reasonable amount of time; however, it took a very long time to get our food after we ordered. My toast was burned too.

The restaurant was very busy, and there were not enough servers to help everyone in a timely manner. Our waitress was running trying to keep up. More help was needed. Also, one whole side of restaurant was closed off, so we had to wait to be seated for 10-15 minutes.

Everything was great but for the wait time and temperature of my meal.

The new remodel and the new furnishings do not provide the comfort and privacy that the "old" booths gave. The chairs scrape loudly when moved over the tiled portions of the floor and they are not comfortable. We would love to go back to the "old" comfortable and quiet Shari's.

I could see two works standing in the back, but it took awile untile one came up to me. I was getting a slice of pie to go. I asked the waitress, how much is a slice of pie vs a whole pie. I was told $3 foe a slice $9 for a whole pie. So I bought the whole pie, and it is delicious. When I cheched out the pie was $11.29. I said what happened to $9. She said sorry she must have been wrong. The pie is great, but the info and transaction went sideways. I'll be back, just not happy with how that went.

The staff was short handed. Therefore it took forever to be seated. Once seated they (staff) took a long time to get our order served, then it was very small portions. I know I ordered off the Senior menu and did not expect much. However, the bread was two small (size of a walnut) the meat was very very small (about 1and a half inch by 4 inches by 5 eigths thick) and tough.

My daughter and I enjoyed our meal and will return in the future
