Busy time of day, short staffed, delay in taking order.

Bananas on pie were too old. Chicken strips were over cooked. Waitress did not get order right.

It took to long to seat us. They didn't have decaf. coffee made. There wasn't any catsup etc. at our table had to ask for that. The waiter walked by tables needing to be bussed and didn't stop and pick up items to carry back. There was no busser on duty. They were short handed regarding waitresses.

Hot food needed to be hotter, it was above room temp but should have been more so. Chicken fried steak was only part of meal that was truly hot. Tast was good but would have been better if temp was higher. We eat here often so will forgive occasional off usual visit.

I've had many meals at Sharis' generally totally satisfied. but this meal...(maybe because it was a 'special' menu' the food tasted very generic.

My wife never received her salad. Once we received our food we never saw the waitress again. We kept looking for her in order to get drink refills, but did not see her for about 20 minutes, when we were ready for our bill.

Food was served by another waitress who took over from the first who went on break. Not enough gravy was served on the meal and it took at least 4 minutes to get her attention that I required more gravy. At that point I had eaten half of my meal.

The server was very nice and she delivered the appropriate ordered food. She was the only server at the restaurant and did her best to take care of everyone.

Slow service (slower than other restaurants in the area), coffee was cold when we asked for a refill, had to ask waitress more than once for items we needed.

The link sausage tasted (& looked) like it had been on the grill all night. The over easy egg was broken & over done. The pancakes had a "stick-to-the-plate" quality reminiscent of pancakes served at Denneys 20 years ago.
