Food selection for vegetables not good. Overall feel of the restaurant has changed dramatically - and not for the better.

The store was not full at all yet the servers acted like they were swamped. We never did get water. It took a long time to get our food and I was almost done before my toast arrived. The chicken fried steak tasted like it had been heated numerous times and the texture was hard. My wife had a sampler and the sausage was the same way. it was very hard. The guy next to us had to ask what happened to his hamburger. We are not asking for anything. The reason we didn't say anything is that we do not want to make a negative scene.

The diner was not busy. There were tables that were clean, but people were not being seated in a timely manner. We ordered our food and the food came out cold. It did not take long for our food to come to the table so I am assuming that some of the menu items were pre-made. This might be the case on why our food came out cold. The hamburgers were cold along with the onion rings and French fries.

The overall attentiveness of the staff was nominal. We watched and waited in total 2 sessions of over 20 min for our waitress to pass by our seating area. We where by the entrance. She decided to be by the counter and and walk around back and forth. After the second wait we decided to just leave. The food was not cooked well and the chicken and waffles order was sent in sections.The north west dinner salad had very little to any dressing on it. The atmosphere exemplified confusion and if weren't for our moral character my family and I would have just left... I doubt anyone would have even noticed. We never received a bill!!!! Trying to pay for a meal that wasn't even registered on the computer seemed to feel like being at the DMV.

It took 20 min to get seated and it took 15 min to receive our food after order was placed. They were very busy and there was not enough staff. Only half of the restaurant was open because of the lack of staff. The staff that was there tried real hard but were overwhelmed. The French fries were put on the wrong plate and the Philly Cheese prime rib sandwich was scrappy over done meat and not served with au jus. They were out of a lot of pies.

I go to Shari's at least twice a month. This was a special trip with my daughter. The service was abhorrent! First, it took at least 5 minutes for him to come to our table after we were seated. Then our server, Reiner, approached the sandwich looking disheveled and unkempt. His greeting was muttered and I honestly thought by his appearance and his disdane for seeming to want to wait on us that he was a bus person who had been asked to stand in as a server. This was not the case and he was, in fact our server. He mumbled through each interaction to the point that I often could not hear or understand him. He got my drink incorrect and then acted surprised when I asked for it to be corrected. At the end of I had to ask another server for my bill as Reiner was no where to be found. She willingly printed it off, only to discover it was incorrect. She fixed the bill and we were able to finish our visit.

It appeared the restaurant was short handed. The wait staff was cordial but harried. We experienced a delay in getting our check. Food was good. Waitress very cordial.

Your newly remodeled Sharis is a pleasant surprise. Our last visit there was less that what it has always been. I thought with the newness of our Kennewick restaurant things had changed. And they had in some ways. When we arrived on Sunday at noon there were many empty tables and no one was being seated. Finally after a 20 minute wait in the waiting area we were seated. The reason given was that the kitchen had gotten backed up!!! What!! Give your guest a seat, an explanation of why the wait was so long, and perhaps a complimentary cup of coffee. That way you could keep your guest happy and loyal and everyone would come out ahead. Some serious guest relations should be looked at and your staff have back up in case the kitchen gets backed up again. We won't return again until Shari's gets it act together. I know there were others complaining in the waiting area and we were all discussing the problem, but didn't get an explanation until way after we were seated. Some effort was made to make things right but Shari's is still the loser in my opinion.

Fries on 2 orders were burnt, fish & shrimp were WAY OVERCOOKED, all 3 orders were cold & food just had no flavor

Right from the time I entered your restaurant, another family of 3 entered before me. It took over 4 minutes 45 seconds to the group of 3 to be seated. I am an OTR truck driver and I ALWAYS look at my watch. When I was finally seated, I received no apologies for the wait.
