THE PORTION OF THE FOOD IT WAS THE SIZE OF A CHILD PLATE. I EAT THAT SAME FOOD AT DENNY'S AND IHOP AND THE PORTIONS ARE TWICE THE SIZE. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND SHARI'S RESTAURANT TO ANYONE OR GO BACK THERE TO EAT. SHARI'S IS MORE OF A RESTAURANT FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE ONLY AND NOT FAMILIES.

I WALIKED IN WITH GRANDDAUGHTER.UP FRONT WAS UNDERSTAFFED SO WAS BUSY.I WALKED TO A BOOTH BY THE BATHROOM WAS GONNA HAVE MY 9 YLD.WAIT AT BOOTH WHILE I WENT TO BATHROOM.THATS WHEN WAITRIESS YELLED THAT SHE WOULD SEAT US...I TOLD HER THATS FINE BUT IM GOING TO RESTROOM AND GRANDDAUGHTER IS WAIYING AT THIS BOOTH UNTILL I COME OUT.

We arrived and did not get seated for at least 5 mins. There was NO one in front of us. Ladies just walking around the counter area talking. We then we're seated. 15 or so minutes later our waitress took our order and it was the last time she came to our table! 30 min later our food was brought out by the manager. The food was unappealing, I had a already been chewed on orange slice on my plate!! We finished our food and waited, and waited.... Still no waitress and no help. My husband got sick of waiting to order pie to go. So after roughly 30-40 minutes of waiting, he got up and went to the front, told them we would like pie and get our ticket.

The cook was unsanitary. The cook Josh wasn't wearing gloves, putting cutting utensils in his mouth, licking his fingers and eating food.

the eggs were over cooked on both orders, too many black specks in the potato cakes. Coffee week. Server tried to do a good job but should know your menu a little better and if he would have checked on us after delivering our food we would have asked for our eggs to be cooked properly then not complaining as he asked us at the cash register.

We learned our lesson on this visit! This was our first experience at Shari's. While we weren't greeted for some time, we initially enjoyed the diner atmosphere and felt we would have a good experience. However, when our food arrived, our experience went downhill. My steak was lukewarm and VERY bland. It tasted like a steak that had been frozen for some time. The shrimp were not good by any stretch. My wife's bacon tasted precooked long beforehand, and her sausage was very cold, like it had been previously cooked and refrigerated. As we left we commented to each other that this dinner one of the worst meals/experiences we had ever had and how we were both hoping not to get sick from the awful food. We will not be going back to this restaurant.

When my boyfriend and I arrived there were two people already waiting to be seated. It took a long time just tobe greeted. I counted 5 employee's and only seen two working, the cook and our server. The ladies we saw were just standing around. I was so mad by the time we got our food, and then mine was cold, my boyfriends was hot. We were there at least 2hrs. Worst service ive ever had at Shari's. I love this restaurant for their breakfast and pies, but I won't be going back anytime soon, that's for sure.. Our experience that night cost almost $30.00 and its the first time I left a restaurant hungry.

Took a lon time to get our food & all 3 of our breakfasts were cold. We told the waitress when we finally were able to get her & the food was put in he microwave. The bis uitscwere soggy, eggs dry & crunchy & the bacon burned. We eat at your restaurant every Sunday & every Sunday something goes wrong.

From the minute we walked in the waitress was in a hurry to seat us and get our order in. "I have a big group I am going to have to put in, I don't want you to wait" That would have been fine except the one request I made felt like it was inconvenient. I don't know if the restaurant was understaffed but it didn't seem that busy to me. One group of maybe 10 and two other tables I could see when we walked in. See my comments about the breakfast skillet I ordered. The other meal we purchased we asked for tater tots and got french fries. We were afraid to ask for that to be corrected since she was annoyed with my request to have cheese melted on my skillet. She could see I wasn't enjoying the skillet asked what was wrong with it, I explained as she was walking away with it hand. She didn't ask if I wanted something different. She just took it off the bill. Again, she was in a hurry. The waitress brought us our check and didn't even ask if we wanted a piece of pie. Overall, we both were annoyed by her apparent need to hurry us through. And the food wasn't that great.

Received several coupons for Shari's in the mail. We used the "buy 1 meal and get the second meal of equal or lesser value for $4.99" - we ended up getting 4.99 + tax reduction. Clearly a lie to get you into the restaurant. We ordered 2 meals each meal costing 15.99. This upset me so much, we will not be eating at this restaurant chain in the future.
