The biscuit with my meal was very dry/stale. The steak salads did not have the usual amount of carmalized onion on them and there were very few nuts. The first time this salad was ordered it was very good. Now they are skimping on what goes on it.

We have been going to Sharis for years and have seen the restaurant go down steadily the whole time from the hired help, quality of food, prices going up and the quality of the food go down. There is no choices of jams or jellies for the toast, the butter not melting on the toast, the chicken fried steak cooked beyond its time. Overall indifference to wanting return customers is obvious. Sharis used to be a step up from Denny's, now Sharis is a step below, with the exception of cleanliness. Quit trying to sell pies and return to the mom and pop restaurant you used to be! Sorry but true. Wake up before you have no returning customers at all. Standing room only at restaurants around but not at Sharis. That should tell you something, if you are watching at all. Maybe next year. We will see.

Stopped by for prime rib night, and was told that all that was left was large portions. Not a problem, but it was barely warm ( potato & prime rib ) & had to pay for a side salad.

Potatoes in soup not cooked all the way, quiche, ham and broccoli and cheese mean ham in it not a garnish and it wasn't very warm. Had to request my pie which came with meal as for bottomless beverage never once as if I wanted more. Not to mention the last time I was here they chose to vacuum while a freinds and I were eating which stirs up dust and was so loud we couldn't even hold on a conversation. A carpet sweeper should of been used instead

Part of my lunch was a small ceasar salad. It was very soggy as it was swimming in dressing. The server offered to take it back and add more lettuce, but I did not want extra lettuce on my salad and the soggy lettuce would not have been improved because it was already soggy.

My grandson and I ate our meals at Sharis and everything was fine with them. I got 4 meals to go and when I got home, the hamburger I ordered without onion had onion on it. Two of the meals were the steak salads and they were missing some of the ingredients that were in the salad last time it was ordered. The country fried steak meal was not very large. My husband was very disappointed when comparing it to country fried stead meals at other restaurants. All the meals I took home had a problem.

Once our food was delivered couldn't get response to our waving our hand or saying waitress. When we finally got napkins they were tossed onto the table. When we checked out I said you need more help to the hostess. No reply except come again. the hostess was in the kitchen and the 1 waitress was checking people out and in and not being able to give needed attention to her customers that were already seated. Not a good eating out experience at all and especially when we paid almost $30.00 for a meal.

The waitress, Crystal, was never friendly or nice to us. When she first came to our table, she did not ask us what we wanted to drink, I had to tell her. We ordered decaf coffee & the pot had dried food on it, like cheese or something. She wiped it off in front of me & then said, "there you go." After that, she seemed to be annoyed or angry with me & did not check on us for the rest of the meal. After we were done with dinner, said it was pie time. We told her we did not want dessert. She nearly became belligerent, saying it was free pie night and we must have some pie. We told her we would take 1 slice of pie and one fruit plate for dessert. She then insisted we have 2 slices since there were 2 of us, and I had to insist no. She brought the pie but did not bring the fruit plate. We then sat there for awhile waiting for our check, but the waitress seemed to disappear and never brought us our check. I stood at the cash register with my credit card and sharis cafe club card to pay. The manager sensed something was wrong and asked. I told her and she apologized and mentioned this survey. Never before have we had such appalling service at Sharis. It was quite shocking.

This restaurant did not have enough servers to handle the amount of customers coming in the door. Several customers left because the wait to be seated was 45 minutes or longer. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Very poor planning to not have enough servers to handle Sunday business.

1. any open seats available and yet we still had to wait for a table to be wiped off and be seated. 2. An older couple waiting as well took longer than we did and as I said MANY open spots on the side they were seating people were available. 3. Not enough help obviously, so the manager brought us our food. 4. Server "Erika" almost begging people to give her a good rating on this survey. Her clothes were dirty and almost made us feel glad that the manager gave us our food. While taking our order she had 1 foot on the wall like she needed help standing. 5. This location was dirty (tables not cleaned, carpet had food and paper pieces on it) no sugar packets in table holder and husband had to ask Erika to brink milk for coffee. Though I ordered apple juice Erika gave me a cup of coffee (never have drank coffee, never will) so when she took order she was not totally listening to my ordering. 6. If my husband had not needed to eat, we would have got up and left!
