Shari's

The bacon did not ever come for my guest's order. The cheese on my salad was curled on the edges indicating that it had been exposed to air and was dry. The restaurant was not very clean with food on our table and items on the floor. Disappointing. Not like the Shari's quality that I am accustomed to.

Food took almost 30 minutes to arrive, when it did show up my order was wrong. I could tell restaurant was understaffed so I ate my food anyway. I ordered a Philly beef sandwich and received a beef French dip that had almost no meat on it, the waitress had already gone and I knew I would not see her again, otherwise I would have brought it up to her. I tried to order a milkshake for dessert for my daughter but was asked to wait, could tell server was not going to return so I left.

Staff were unprepared for the volume of customers on Free Pie Wednesday. We waited 45 minutes to be seated, even though there were several empty clean tables. The hostess could barely keep up with taking paments at the register much less have time to seat people. Dirty tables were not being cleared timely. At one point I observed the hostess using a clean dry napkin to wipe off a dirty table rather than using a wet bleach cloth. Every aspect of our visit seemed disorganized.

Most ceiling mounted light fixtures used normal warm color lightbulbs however there was some in the store which used bright white\blue led light bulbs which, when behind a rotating ceiling fan made it look like there was police lights in the store. Maybe it was just the place i was sitting.

Okay, I've been kind! I am also unsure that anything will come of this. In the last 2 months, we have eaten at this Shari's 5 or 6 times. We keep going back, although I don't know why. The food has gotten worse each and every time. I hold out hope that things will turn around, but it doesn't seem to be happening. Not too long ago, I ordered a steak with a stuffed baked potato and all the trimmings. By the time I got home, about 40 minutes, I was sicker than a dog. My stomach rumbled for two days. I ordered a steak the second visit and it was WELL DONE, when I ordered MEDIUM RARE. This last visit, which may be our last...my wife and I both ordered the PRIME RIB DIP. The sandwich was hot, but that's because they had to re-make them PHILLY STYLE, which they forgot, and the Au Jue was BARELY warm at all. I'm not sure what internal issues are going on there, but I wish they would fix it!

Receiving food was not too, too long, but the waitress essentially disappeared, like forEVER. Didn't check back after serving us. The blond one was back and forth a dozen+ times to her tables, but ours was just plain gone! We waited forever to get our check, too. I want the blond next time, for sure.

the floors and bathroom where filthy. there were no straws. asked for baked potatoe at 4pm weretnt being cooked yet. didn't make burger that i reqquested. kept being told lack of service was due to rush before we came. very dissatisfied with this particular sharis. most especially the floor was absolutely filthy.

the food quality was better at mcdonnals.... little flavor... warm..... amount ok could be a little more... coffee over priced... I feel sharis ows me a breafast

Three of us were at Shari's for dinner. My mother in law and I ordered steaks. She ordered the sirloin and it was overcooked to such an extant that she was unable to effectively cut it with a steak knife. I encouraged her to return it as it was obviously incorrectly prepared. She was reluctant to do so because it took so long to get the order the first time that she was concerned that she would not be able to be served in a timely manner. I ordered the T-Bone breakfast with two eggs over easy. My steak was also overcooked from the medium rare that I ordered and the over medium eggs were not hot. The steak was also a very poor example of T-bone with gristle throughout and very tough. Most of the negative experience that we had on this visit was related to the kitchen staff performance. My mother in law noted that the cook looked dirty and unkempt when she observed him from our table. No manager was apparent in the restaurant that night.

6PM..out of fried chicken, out of french fries, out of several pies. Ordered fish and chips and was charged extra for the onion rings when they had no fries. The ordered was over cooked so much that the waitress brought me a new order of onion rings, her choice I did not ask for them. Only 2 waitress's on duty, which slowed everything down from the time I walked in the door. Now, this was my first ever visit to Shari's and sadly I won't be back. My waitress was fantastic considering the conditions she had to work with.
