Shari's

After a lengthy wait to get seated, we were checked in not long before 4:00PM and expected to get a free slice of pie after our meal since it was a Wednesday. When it came time to order our dessert, it was about 4:10, but our waiter refused to give us pie for free and when we therefor declined to have any pie, he made a smart-alec comment. If I return to this restaurant, I will not be seated in his section.

I would have liked healthier options

The store could be warmer and the portions could be bigger

The host was not at all friendly, did not acknowledge us when we entered and also when we paid the bill. Didn't say anything didn't give eye contact, just wasn't very friendly, he is always the same whenever we go there and we've been there a few times. But the waitresses are very friendly. A waitress acknowledged us when we arrived.

The waitress did not double check orders to make sure they were right she was slow with drink refills

When we arrived there were people waiting but many open tables. We had to put our name on the waiting list and were told they were short staffed and wanted to space the tables. What? First as a customer I do not care you are short staffed that is not our problem.... just sit us offer us some coffee.....free.... and let us know you apologize if it may take a bit longer than usual...... there were 4 group of people in front of us... And yes we watched as each group were sitted as a table was leaving. So we waited for 4 tables to be finished eating..... seriously? Not a very good managerial decision. And of course no way to tell us how long it would take..... we have no problem with tje staff but the management is not that great... he could have helped or apologized himself offered some coffee. There were many tables free.

Slow service, undercooked bacon, one drink never came

It was just average. As expected from a chain restaurant. Good but not great. Some food items that should have been hot were cold when served.

It has been over 10 years since our last visit to Shari's. The restaurant looked the same, the staff was friendly, but the food was horrible. The lettuce had brown, rotten spots, the tomato was unripe and the orange section was spoiled, the cut end of the Arugula was brown. The waitress offered to bring more fruit, but I declined, as I knew that what ever I would be served would come from the same kitchen.
