After having better than average service from a delightful waitress I took my check to the check-stand. The chef however needs to be trained as to what well-done food is. The waitress did check with me as to if the food was cooked enough and did take it back when it wasn't. When she brought it back the chef had merely reheated the sausage. I wasn't about to have her take the food back again to have it possible accidentally dropped on the floor because it had come back to the chef to be cooked more. Alls well. Went to check-out and was 2nd in line. A man steps up on the other side from his table as a waitress walks behind the checkout. She asks him to checkout, doesn't look at the now 2 people who were there FIRST. I asked the manager about this. The manager interrupts me and talks over me while I am talking, NOT listening. I'm speaking quietly respectfully and am totally discounted by her. She seems just to busy to be bother. A few years back I had a very rude waitperson and this manager did the same and offered excuses for the person rather than listen or try to remedy what a table of 3 were saying to her. They have NOT been back. I will NOT be back nor recommend.

We waited for over ten minutes before anyone even came to the front to greet us or the crowd of people that formed. The restaurant did not seem that busy yet there were people waiting to pay for their food for the same amount of time the rest of us waited to be noticed. Once seated our server took a very long time to come to the table. Service was slow, slow, slow. My family was done with our meals before the server came back to check on us for the first time since receiving the meals. Another family at an adjacent table left without ordering. My turkey sandwich was desert dry. The bread was not fresh. My husband did not get a refill until we were done and I did not request mayo or mustard for my sandwich as the server never came back until we were done. Poor experience overall.

Today was national pie day so we took the opportunity to visit Shari's to enjoy dinner and a slice of pie. When we arrived, we were not greeted for nearly five minutes. When our food arrived some items were so hot they could not be eaten while other items on the plate were so cold butter would not melt. upon completion of our meal we attempted to order our pie only to find many of our choices were unavailable. You would think a pie store would be better prepared for national pie day. However, we decided on various slices to take home only to find out two of the slices were frozen solid. We are Shari's club members and this was definitely not up to the standards we have become used to.

Our server was not attentive. We had to ask her repeatedly for water. She was not friendly. She did not listen. The addition of avocado to my sandwich was one slice which was highly disappointing. The experience was set up for failure when we entered and were greated with enthusiastic bubbly freshness from La La to get sourness with a lack of attention to detail and appearance of not caring about the customer (especially on my 45th birthday) from Miz Pat. The experience was so lack luster I will never consider coming back to celebrate another event in my life.

Only one server on duty. Took too long, about 10 minutes, to place my order. After completion of my meal, I waited about ten minutes and finally had to track down my server to get the check. I had a similar experience at this restaurant when passing through Olympia a couple of months ago. I like Shari's but am not likely to stop at this restaurant again.

The food quality has gone down significantly. I am really dissapointed in the freshness and taste of the products. We ordered chicken fried steak with potatoes and "fresh vegetables" the vegetables were rubbery the potatoes were blah and I didn't eat them they were so gross, I wouldn't have eaten the steak either if I wasn't so hungry it was lacking flavor and they tried to overcompensate it with too much boring gravy. The fish and chips with shrimp was unimpressive too along with the clam chowder. I get better quality food from fast food. All of the food is too bland. Flavor it up some and order better quality ingredients, maybe you should shorten your menu item and focus on a few to improve satisfaction. The service was very friendly and helpful and the speed of service was fine. Your food just sucks.

Ham was stone cold, coffee was old and horrible, wanted water but couldn't get any help for the cold food, bad coffee or to ask for a glass of water. Worst service I've had in a long, long time.

We ordered breakfast. Both of our meals were stone cold. We would told our waitress but she didn't return only to give us our check. The cashier didn't ask us how are meal was otherwise we have told her that our meal was horrible and we could not eat it. We will never go back.

Toast hard and cold. Even the soft butter couldn't melt. Scrambled eggs were runny and undercooked. Hah browns were burned to a crisp and was not edible. Bothe dishes were cold. Butter on pancakes wouldn't melt. Took a longer than usual time to get food. Food must've been sitting awhile. It would explain the cold. Did not complain to manager. It makes me uncomfortable to do so. The server should have seen the cold toast and pancakes as well as the runny eggs.
