When we arrived we were ignored and not greeted or acknowledged. upon being seated the server did no bring waters to the table. when drink order was places (2 shakes) one was missing an ingredient and totally melted by the time it reached the table. Our appetizers were forgotten and had not been entered into the order at all. They arrived at the end of the meal after being reminded. We were offered Ranch or Ketchup when our meals arrived and we had to ask for them 2 more times before they were brought to the table. Our food was cold by the time the condiments arrived after the appetizers did. Water arrived after the appetizers also. one of the meals asked to have the sauce held to the side and was run up under a different menu item and we were charged more for it also. The server rushed up to make our order and was asked to come back 3 times. the server was more concerned with a large group order that never showed up and she had to break down the tables and put away which they seemed to be in a very bad mood about and throwing the silverware into the tubs.

We had the senior pot roast. It was very salty to the point that I got sick later that night from it. We did not use the gravy at all. The potatoes were so stiff that you could hardly cut with the fork. The meat was very salty also as well as the carrots, pearl onions & celery which was dumped on top of the potatoes. It all came in a small handled dish. Bigger size dish would have made it more presentable. There was juice dumped on top as well. We've had this dish many times before and never this disgusting. We told the waitress & all she said was sorry. We spend on the average is $300.00 or more at Shari's. My husband goes there almost every morning for breakfast. & we have dinner or lunch there several times a week. The pies are also always undercooked. The crust on the berry, peach, & Apple I purchased this summer had to be rebaked for a function I was taking them to. Vickie Yeager (509)833-6585

I have already written this in a previous answer. We ordered the special Prime Rib Friday special medium rare and received grey overlooked well done unseasoned tough meat and the waitress didn't apologize, change it, fix it, or even call over a manager. The onion rings were over cooked. And her response to our asking why this wasn't medium rare was "it is as medium rare as we can get it tonight". That is not cool! 3 of the 4 of us ordered the Prime rib. It looked boiled.

I asked for the tomato soup which was the seasonal option and it was way way too salty. I had it replaced with a salad which appeared fresh. My first choice of food was sold out. So I got the chicken and mushroom alfredo dish. I believe the photo showed garlic bread but I got garlic pita pieces. The Alfredo was probably the worst Alfredo I have ever seen in any restaurant anywhere. Alfredo sauce is supposed to be cream-based and this was a shiny nasty-looking sauce. I ate my dinner because I was too hungry to leave and go somewhere else. I finally asked for pie figuring that they couldn't screw that up. But I was supposed to be heated and was very cold in the middle. To top it off my server, although she had been there for 4 years, never smiled or made me feel welcome. She seemed like the one thing that would really make her day was if she got to go home. I still gave her a 20% tip because I feel that restaurant workers are underpaid.

The server sat down at our table and started up a conversation with us. This was the second time she has done this and we do not like it. She would then touch us while she talked and we do not like that. She would call us "honey" and I am not her "honey"! On an earlier visit, while clearing our table, she dropped a knife on my wife and injured her. We reported it by way of this survey and was not able to speak with a gal who called us. We kept missing each other. This is not the way to treat your customers!

The attitude of the waitress, seemed to have gotten aggravated when my wife asked for the gluten free menu , and the waitress was informed by my wife that she has celiac disease and had to have her order cooked accordingly.
