Not enough help for number of customers in restaurant. Original waitress clocked out immediately after taking order; a second waitress delivered order, but it was not complete; salad missing for one customer, soup & pie of the other. It took 20 minutes to receive pie at end of meal by the shift supervisor. Not fault of those people working; only two waitresses on duty for whole restaurant at 12:30pm on a Sunday. Church got out across the street and customers started flowing in. :)

Two different waitresses worked with me. When the second one asked the first if she had given my order to the chef, the first one said no. (There were a lot of customers.) My food arrived warm enough, but not as hot as I expected. It still tasted good. I have known Lynn, the second waitress, for a long time, and she is excellent!

It is good food not gourmet. Highly is reserved for super superior.

All the people at the restaurant were likable and friendly.

The pie was alittle bland, and coffee was way too expensive but overall itwasnt too bad

Took a long time to have order taken, long time to get food even though it was not crowded. Coffee served was not hot and tasted old. Server did not come back to ask if anything else was needed or wanted after the food was delivered. Have been to this Shari's numerous times and this was not the kind of experience that makes one want to return again. The food did not seem to be up to the usual standard.

The Pumpkin Cream pie was a thin layer of pumpkin filling between a flavorless custard base and whipped cream with pumpkin spice added to it. It was so far from adequate that we did not finish the first piece we tried after we got home. The rest went into the garbage.

I was told there would be only two soups available -- the far-too-sweet seasonal soup with the thin texture, and the former signature soup (loaded baked potato) on Monday ONLY. My dining partner and I are very disappointed with this corporate decision.

Poor Chicken Fried Steak dinner. No taste, tough, bad meat. Gravey unflavorful. Vegetables were terrible, flat no taste and raw.
