I ordered breakfast w/cottage cheese w/tomato slices, but when I received my order, no cottage cheese on my plate, only tomato slices, when I asked the waitress about it, she stated, o today is replenishment day, we ran out. Turned around and left, like she really did not care to mwait on us anyway.

When we arrived, they were not busy and it still took too long to receive our food. My sandwich was stale and they did offer to get me another one until after my complaint to the 2nd lady, but by then we had waited too long. They forgot the macaroni and cheese my son ordered. The waitress said it was that way probably immediately when they set it down when it was ready. That's not acceptable. They need to make the sandwich last then and not have it waiting while the other food is getting ready. They forgot my mayonnaise and did not come back to the table to check on us so I had to go ask another waitress for the mayo.

1. The eggs were prepared wrong, they were bland and not hot. The hash browns were almost raw and no flavor. The Chicken fried cutlet was almost all breading. The country gravy had no flavor other than that of flour. The coffee was like rain gutter water. 2. There were bugs in the bathroom stall still alive and trying to crawl on my feet when I had to make use of the facility. The bathroom was dirty and unacceptable.

When we arrived we were seated at a table and the waitress told us she would return shortly to get our drink order... after about 15-20 minutes, my husband finally had to go find the waitress and ask her if she was going to come take our drink order. She replied, irritated, that she is the only waitress and very busy . She did come right to our table after that but never apologized for the wait and was still seemed a little irritated. When my husband got upset at her attitude and said "we can leave" she immediately adjusted her attitude and was nicer from then on but it should not have had to go that far. We also had to flag her down for our check. I understand her frustration but it sure makes for poor customer service. That Shari's needs to hire more staff if having only one waitress on duty is going to make them so busy they can't handle the customers they have or they won't have those customers long. In my opinion.

The prices went up substantially and portion size went down. Biscuits and grave were nearly dry. 4 halves with 1/2 cup of gravy on them. My coffee came 1/2 way thru my visit and only after I asked. The prices are not on par with restaurants in the area. $28.50 for breakfast for 2 is unsatisfactory. Sterlings Restaurant has the same price for steak and eggs. Much better food for a lesser price. I came here because two other places were packed. Including Denny's. Almost no one here. That should have been a flag. I've been a customer for years and I don't think I'll be coming back. I'm irritated that it has come to this. Didn't tell staff as the problem is a corporate decision. Staff did ok.

I had paper on the cheese in my cheeseburger. A 4x4 wrapper for the cheese. I gave to my waitress. Not one word on what was happening to the paper. Was the cook notified?

was seated & had drink order taken and then forgotten about, no drinks, nor order taken for about 5 minutes. after order taken, wife's soup arrived 30 seconds before dinner. could not find server to ask about soup. overall, left pretty much to ourselves.

When we were told it would be a 30 minute wait, we agreed to wait that long to be seated. But after being seated, and immediately placing our order, it was over an hour's wait to receive our food.

Food was not prepared as it was ordered. I had Biscuit & Gravy Breakfast, wrong type of biscuit for biscuits & gravy, there was only enough gravy to cover one half of one biscuit, I ordered lightly cooked hashbrowns and received them well done, I ordered limp bacon and received them crisp.

Seemed to be very short staffed at lunchtime.There were only 2 waitresses and one went to kitchen drinking from a plastic glass into kitchen shortly after dropping off our food and never seen again. The remaining waitress came by early after we recieved our food but never stopped by again. Even quickly dropped off check without even talking to us or asking if we wanted dessert, which I did want want a piece of pie to take home. I couldn't see her to ask for box. I always only eat half my food so I can have the pie later, nor get another drink. We stop only about once a month so know this is not the normal service.
