Shari's

Ordered the Steak Breakfast New York steak. Requested my steak medium rare. Steak I received was cooked well done and appeared to be less than a 1/4 inch thick which would be hard to cook medium rare.

I had the fish and fries, it was horrible. Greasy overtired and the fries were cooked in the same old grease. My husband had the Cuban, so bland, but he ate it.

My order was for hard poached eggs. The first 2 attempts were medium with running yolks which took over 20 minutes. The 3rd serving was cooked correctly but the meal was eaten so the eggs were taken to go. Our server made every attempt to make it right but the manager on duty never came to the table to see if she could do anything for us. At the time of payment, we were not charged for my meal but the manager still did not make an apology. We were given 2 free slices of pie to go for the Wednesday special but I requested apple only to find when I went to eat the pie that it was peach.

First time ever, as soon as i walk in Angela told me they were understaffed, good to let me know but very bad also. I order canopy and all 4 came on a different size, how?????? One super small, one super Big one just normal i guess and i order the last one after few minutes and again was different.... i ending paying like $60 for absolutely no good food, even my omelette was no meat on it. Probably not come back ever again. Sorry, this was my bad experience.

My order was incorrect. It took 4 times as long to bring the " fixed" meal as it to get it originally and by that time it was tepid at best. My girlfriend finally had to stand by the beverage station after waiting 15 minutes for a refill.

It was pretty empty in the restaurant yet our waitress took forever to greet, seat, and place our order. She continued to clear tables - clear dishes, wipe down tables, replenish items on table she was cleaning. My food was cold and I ordered the sirloin steak and shrimp scampi and I did NOT get my shrimp scampi. Informed her abt it and she said she can take a $1 off...REALLY?! $1 so my cold steak and mashed potatoes where the cheese didn't melt because it was COLD was $14+? RIDICULOUS! She returned to our table twice the 2hours we were there smh. Worst experience ever at this Sharis and we visit quite regularly too!

Seated quickly, water quickly, and order placed quickly. After a long wait I was told that the item I ordered (cinnamon french toast) wasn't available... asked if I wanted regular french toast instead. A few min later the other plate we ordered arrived, it was good. It took at least 10 min after that for my french toast to arrive and then with no syrup or butter or anything. The French Toast was very dry, pretty much just toast with a hint of egg. I was too annoyed and hungry to deal with sending it back but I ended up paying almost $8 for 3 pieces of dry toast. After all that we had to flag someone down for water refills...dry toast makes me thirsty after all. Wait staff seemed distracted and unprofessional.

First of all every time that I go to that Sharis I feel discriminated against, the server did not one come and check on me and her customer service was horrible. The only reason why I go to that one is because it's the closest one to me and I like Sharis better than Dennys or IHOP.

We waited 5-10 min to be greeted, but once greeted,, we were seated right away. It took maybe 15 minutes before the server came to take our order. The food seemed to take quite awhile, and when it arrived there were no cranberries and the bacon on the holiday special turkey burger was stone cold and barely cooked. She sent it back to the kitchen (we didn't mention the cranberries because everything had taken a long time already). Also, the server forgot to bring my soup but brought it quickly once I mentioned it. I shouldn't have, though, because I didn't like the flavor of it and only had two bites. When we were done eating, we waited about 15 minutes for the check to come before finally just getting up and going up front to the cash register. I will say, though, that everyone was friendly enough, I highly enjoyed my prime rib stroganoff, and the pie was delicious (as usual).We've been to many different Shari's many different times and have never had this kind of experience before. It won't keep us from eating at Shari's in the future, but we're not in a hurry to go back to this location.

Shari's change the bacon to a thinner slice with a highly smoked flavor that you cannot even taste the bacon flavor. Are you changing to be like Denny's?
