Ordered fish and chips: Fish was soaked with grease, and could only eat 1 piece (the server did comp the fish when we informed her). Also, the prime rib dip sandwich had NO flavor! Both the prime rib and Au Jus for it were very, very bland....I would think that a small sandwich like that would be bursting with flavor, but it was not. Heck, a package of beef flavor Top Ramen soup has a lot more flavor. It also sounded like the kitchen was short handed and possibly a new cook, so wait time for the food was a bit on the long side....Friday night is not a night to be short handed in the kitchen or on the floor

Shortly after being seated a server took our order. She came back to be sure how my eggs should be prepared. With the service station just behind us we overheard another server advise our server that they both have table to serve and she shouldn't put her own name as the server on our order. My egg was scrambled and my wife's was over easy. We exchanged the eggs without saying anything. The above conflict may have contributed to the error.

My friends and I come here for breakfast every Wed morning (for past 4 years) and we still have to give our standard order to our server. The bathroom stall has NO lock on it Been jury rigged for several months; now the lock is gone.

Husband's food (cfs brn platter)looked much bigger and better in picture, gravy very thin, not many hashbrowns, eggs not really seasoned. My prime rib dip was VERY chewy like the meat was old, french fries still kind of raw.

I ordered steak medium and I got medium well done. I never brought that to anybody's attention though. The waitress was very sweet and very nice but had problems with her service. For example, we would ask for extra butter, extra side of country gravy, and creamer for coffee. She would bring the butter but forget the other things. Then it would be like 10 minutes before we could get her attention again to bring the other things which she forgot. Then she would bring one of the items and forget the other. It wasn't that busy that she would have those problems from being over stressed from too many people to serve. Within the entire restaurant there was probably only 15 or 20 people and in the section we were in, she only had about 6 people to take care of. Again I must repeat she was super super nice! a wonderful person with a great personality. However she kept forgetting things. She was hard to get hold of, etc...

We have been going to Shari's for years but I remember now why I don't order salads there. I ordered the spinach chicken avocado salad and it was the smallest salad I have ever seen anywhere. My husband even commented on it. When ordering other breakfasts, lunch or dinner the portions are always what you would expect. I don't expect to pay $10 for 5 bites of food.

I ordered quiche and got a sandwich instead--we had a lot of stuff to do while we were in Spokane, so just ate what I got. There was a change of waitresses while we were there and had to track down our new waitress and get the piece of pie that I had cominng

The meat in my French dip sandwich was tough and full of tough fiber that I could not chew. The quality of the meat was substanderd. You used to provide a tender product.

I needed a few minutes more to choose my meal and it was almost 10 minutes before she came back...it was not busy. My hollindaise sauce was ice cold, eggs lukewarm, and no whip cream on my birthday pie...pumpkin no less.
