On the keto diet and it was difficult for the server to work with us on that. Food was good but steak was a bit over cooked and I didn't get enough vegetables.

They were out of country gravy and chicken fried steaks and a lot of the breakfast items we wanted included country gravy. The waitress was efficient but wasn't bubbly and didn't smile or seem happy to be there. This has not been the first time that they were out of things on the menu.

I had a great time, the food was good although my over easy eggs were almost over hard. I had the CFS SM combo that comes with hash browns. I prefer mashed potatoes rather than hash browns. I under stand that the rules say no substitutions on specials. You can't sub mashed for hash browns? Really?

my order was rather mundane

I ordered the spinach/chicken salad off the Honored Citizens menu. It comes with blue cheese dressing which I don't like. I asked the waitress if I could change the dressing, she said yes, so I asked for ranch. Which I got. What I didn't expect was chunks of blue cheese in the salad. It was impossible to pick them out & there weren't too many, but I wasn't thrilled with that. If a person doesn't like blue cheese ON a salad, she won't like it IN the salad. And there also wasn't much chicken in it for the price, tho I wouldn't complain much about that. :)

We seemed to be ignored when first arriving but eventually someone seated us. We were again ignored for a while before our server came to the table. We waited a very long time at the register to pay the bill. The food issue was the white zin wine, which tasted like weakly flavored water. Not even sure it was wine.

Hamburger tasted like it was burnt.

The waitress was in a rush and wasn't really listening to requests. Dropped one of our plates so we had to wait for them to make a new one

Highly satisfied means that everything was perfect or at least beyond expectations. Satisfied is a good rating.

The menu has changed. For example, no fruit blintzes; some other things dropped from the menu that I liked. The restroom was really dirty!! It doesn't seem as cheery as, say, 6 months ago. It seems dark in there.
