My water was not refilled. I asked the waitress for water, but she did not bring me water.

The food is never hot enough and the portions are extremely small

This is the third time we’ve tried this Shari’s and each time they are out of something. Today it was crackers, Swiss cheese and mashed potatoes. The server, Monica, was amazing and swapped in other ingredients but my stomach was upset and I wanted comfort food, specifically mashed potatoes which I couldn’t have. Also, gluten free options are a thing now. Please get some.

Eggs,hash browned cold. Never refilled our water glasses. We can get the same hot meal at Denneys for half the price.

My waitress couldn’t seem to remember what I was ordering even while she was still at my table. I ordered pie to go and she came back and asked me was it to eat in. I went 75% of my meal without a drink refill and only got one when I spoke to her over the partition. She never checked on me until she brought the drink refill. The gravy on the turkey sandwich was thick, gelatinous and not hot. She brought my main course before I had even finished my salad so it sat there for a good five minutes. The turkey tasted stale and looked like dinner scraps. Usually one of my favorite sandwiches at Sharis. Not sure I’d ever order it again. Very disappointing experience.

My husband and I BOTH ordered menu items with slight changes, and none of that was honored when our food was served. Our server, Jeremy, was apologetic and tried to make it right, but it's sad that NONE of the changes was even honored. I upgraded to the stuffed hashbrowns, and didn't have those, my up husband asked for no onions or peppers as well as for the eggs to be scrambled. The restaurant was not particularly busy so for our orders to come out like that seems a bit sad. Our server, Jeremy, was very good.

I've been there several times and never has it taken 30 minutes to be served. I had to send back twice because it was cold not lukewarm but cold. Clue. Butter doesn't melt on mashed potatoes it's cold. Sent it back once OK it happens but twice that's not acceptable Even though I've ordered on the senior menu the chicken strips were extremely small and dried out. Could have been for microwaving it twice for the potatoes. I've always like their chicken strips which is why I go but next time I might have to check out someone else This was no fault of the waitress but A little restitution might've been nice and not once for the first time to the manager come by and ask if everything was OK I guess they knew I wasn't a happy camper

We go to Sharis once a month or so. All summer we went for the country fried chicken breakfast special. This time we went in for the poutine French fries and egg. It sounded like a breakfast meal...there was also an option of getting a hamburger poutine. I thought the meal was delicious and filling. When we went to check out, we were told the poutine was not a meal and we could not use our coupon for $4.00 off our meals and drinks. If the poutine fries were not a meal, they should have been labeled as a side. Better yet, since they are not considered a meal, the poutine should not be advertised on a flier with coupons that can only be used for entres. The two should be kept separate so as not to mislead the customer. Given time I will get past this fauxpaux and will come in again, but it might take a while.

TWO PANCAKES FOR 6.69 IS UNHEARD OF. I'VE EATEN PANCAKES AT THIS SHARI'S FOR YEARS, THESE WERE ONLY 4 INCHES AROUND, WAY TOO TINY NOT TO MENTION WAY TOO SPENDY, AND MILK 2.39 FOR A GLASS OF MILK IS NUTTY. I CAN'T WITH A GOOD CONSCIENCE RETURN.

The server was completely inattentive and was more concerned with bussing the table by us than taking our order. The food wasn't very good. My "salad" was spring mix with three cherry tomatoes, two slices of cucumber and five croutons. The spring mix was warm. Then I was served quiche, alone on a small plate, without any sort of garnish and it had three halves of cold cherry tomatoes on top. My mom's chicken salad sandwich was runny and fell out of the bread. The server slopped her soup all over the plate as she was serving her. We usually have good service, but we've never had this server. She was absolutely terrible. It took her at least 20 minutes after we were seated to come back to take our order. And then we had to wait a long time for our food. Then another long wait for our pie. It was bad.
